Perfect place to stay in Ubud for a while! My wife and I stayed here for 2 Days and are really sad about leaving this place again.
The rooms are spacious as described on the booking platforms and the condition of the hotel is also absolutely fine.We stayed in a Junior Suite. It really provides western standards and we highly appreciated the daily cleaning services which ended up in great cleanliness!
Overall, staying at Gita Maha was the perfect accommodation in Ubud and we totally recommend staying here!

Lovely big rooms. Great service. They need to clean the pool every day and sweep around the garden area and tidy up generally a little bit. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade but they’re ok

Very clean and considerate... We had to check out very early for our next destination. Still they managed to give us our breakfast as take away. Staffs were. very good. Especially the staff named wijak. All the best team gita maha ubud

The rooms are in need of renovation.
Don’t trust pictures on booking/agoda the rooms are outdated and require maintenance.
We stayed in room 201, which had several issues. One of the lights didn’t work, and we had to ask the staff to fix it. The shower was old and partially broken, as was the bathtub.
Some areas weren’t properly cleaned, and the towels looked worn out.
On the positive side, the location is good. Right in front of the hotel, you can rent scooters for less than 100,000 IDR per day.
The service is friendly, and the room was cleaned daily. However, the reception isn’t always staffed, so it’s best to inform them in advance about your arrival time.

The environment is nice, the staff so friendly. I recommend this hotel because of the good time we spent there. The housekeeping very professional and the breakfast vas nice as well. We found a couples of things in the bathroom that we didn’t like but nothing dangerous. Thanks for everything Gita Maha Hotel!

The hotel was okay—spacious enough with a garden view. They changed the towels every day, but even though they were clean, they smelled bad. The breakfast was limited; there were only four options to choose from on the menu.the shower was broken the water was coming out from the tube, However, the staff were very kind and tried to help whenever I asked.

I AM WARNING ALL TRAVELLERS! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. They gave me a room that was full of mould to the point it literally made me sick, gave me a serious headache and cough. The place stunk, I asked them to change my room they said they were full. It was that bad I had to leave the room around 3am to get some fresh air and returned at 6am to get my bags to go to another hotel. I took a shower and, I can't describe how grimey and disgusting it was. There was some form of poo on the floor. Only could describe it as cat 💩, I spoke with the owners on whatssap who assured me that it was cleaned the same day. How did cat poo get in there is it was clean. They said they would issue a full refund, and now they are trying to charge me for the night from hell, going back and forth against there word. They are dishonest and not trustworthy, and it should be shut down. It is a health hazard. I am honestly not a person to leave reviews and negative ones at that. But this hotel should not be listed. If you go there be warned.

Customer service was terrible, door on my suite didn’t lock for the first two days, restaurant food was not good and at times wasn’t even open due to lack of staffing. The staff did not clean my room very well. Even have pictures of bugs in the tub just after they had supposedly cleaned the suite.

Well, I am just stumped with Warung Kusuma, the setting is tantalizing and the food is delectable. Couldn't have been more elated as this was my first meal in Bali! The Nasi Goreng was simply delicious, the satay was succulent and crunchy.

I came across this place coincidentally and I'm so happy I came back with some friends because everything about it is wonderful. Breakfast was great, the Nasi Goreng was the best we ate in Bali, the coffee is delicious, desserts too!
