There was a dead lizard behind the glass. I told the front staff to help clean this but it stayed like that till our last stay on the 3rd night. There were some strains and a hole on the bed sheet. The floor was dusty and the glasses unclean. The breakfast was great but they took 20 minutes to cook. Spa was perfect!

Although it's an older hotel, the location is great, and the service is excellent. I doubt you'd find a hotel with better value for money. Everyone was kind and friendly, and I had a pleasant stay.

My friend and I stayed for one night. The staff was very nice, the grounds were very beautiful, and the hotel had a spa and inexpensive massages, which we unfortunately didn't have time for.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable room. Good breakfasts. Clean pools.

I liked it very close to Zest, my favourite cafe im Ubud.
the place is so chill.

For the price, the room was pretty good for someone taking classes nearby. There were some small geckos around, and it can be a bit damp in Ubud. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our luggage. Breakfast was à la carte, and the fried rice was delicious.

Excellent.
Immersed in nature.
Sufficient breakfast.

The hotel environment is okay, with its own beach, but the rooms are quite old, especially the facilities, which are particularly outdated. The breakfast is limited and not very tasty. It's acceptable if you're only going for dolphin watching, considering the cheap price.

I arrived at the front desk, and the reception said they don’t have my bookings in the book (he was literally consulting a physical book/list). I showed him my bookings to trip.com and he said they never used trip.com. He asked to check my booking ID, which I gave to him and he checked his email again without avail. Going back and forth like this (and always his response never offered a solution - just that my name wasn’t there), after a while he decided to call someone (his boss? The guy who actually manages the accounts?) who eventually was able to retrieve my reservation after 10-20 minutes struggling with a passive reception! (And I speak Indonesian!!!!)

So, not a great start of my stay, to say the least.
Overall, the hotel is average, just like many others in Ubud. Some things they can improve:
- problem solving skills @front desk!!!
- room sandals would be nice
- use a toilet roll instead of the flimsy tissue dispenser
- better soap/shampoo, not that
- waste bin that meets the aesthetics of the hotel
- a box of tissue in the room would be nice
- it’s time to change the towels

It feels very leisurely. The Green Wonderland Hotel is just too damp. Please be aware that there are insects. ...

So if you're looking for indian food you have a couple of options in Ubud. The restaurants, good but VERY expensive, you got warung little india, with BIG prices and you got Sharaswaty. Fair and fair. Try the eggplant dish with chapati. Samosas too.

Fresh, hot, authentic, masterfully crafted vegetarian & vegan Indian food. Beautiful ambience upstairs, bamboo architecture and down-low seating. A sweet kitty met us upstairs and snuggled us while we waited to order. It's next to a noisy street. Still worth 5 stars. Nice people.

Good price. Samosa and chappati were good. Felt the paneer was cut too small and the tikka paneer dish resembled paneer tomato soup. The sauce needed thickening. Cheap tho

Good option for vegetarians in this area. Fairly priced hence good value. Menu is limited but that's fine because anyway one orders 2-3 dishes. Chapathi was nice. Food tastes more like homemade than the hotel variety. Ambience upstairs was nice. Lassi was a bit of a let down

The food here is amazing, try the eggplant dish with Chapati! It is definitely not the most authentic Indian food, but it is tasty. Their service could be better. The portion is small, and the price is on the high end.

Beautiful place! I ordered the Nasi Goreng and poppyseed cake. The rice was average, and the cake was interesting and delicious. Service was excellent - they even organize transport for you after dinner! They were very flexible in the menu, which was helpful given the variety of dietary restrictions our group had. The place in itself is beautiful - multi-level dining right next to a flowing river. Prices are extremely reasonable at $3-$5 per dish. 8 of us ate dinner and the bill came up to approximately $90, including drinks and dessert.

Decent food, a little pricey, excellent service and chill location.

A valley view restaurant with a relaxing ambience. The staffs were super friendly they wanna talk with you most of the time. The food is alright, not so special. But try their dessert!

I judge a café or restaurant by its toilet, if it's clean then I can safely assume that the kitchen area is clean as well. The toilet is a bit too small but quite clean. Not really comfortable for people with claustrophobic.
