The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, assisting us with everything from ride-sharing apps to booking airport transfers. The breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious, and they even prepared a packed breakfast for us when we had an early flight. The rooms were well-equipped with all amenities. We enjoyed the fantastic views from our high-floor room and the outdoor pool. The hotel's proximity to Gambir train station is a huge plus, making transportation very convenient. The only downside is that the surrounding area can be quite noisy, with motorcycles revving late into the night, so earplugs are definitely recommended for a good night's sleep.

Value for money: Excellent! The hotel is very nice, with staff at the entrance to open the door, and a pool downstairs.
Cleanliness: Pretty good.
Environment: It's quite close to the city center, and you can walk or take a taxi to the nearby malls.

Make sure to request a room facing the pool when you check in; it's much quieter. Otherwise, the rooms facing the road are very noisy due to motorcycle traffic! The 4 AM prayer calls from the loudspeaker are unavoidable, though! Breakfast offers a good variety. Traffic jams are common. It's a 20-minute walk to the largest mall!

The hotel lobby, with its three-story atrium, is quite impressive and perfectly fitting for an established four-star hotel. The newly renovated restaurant on the first floor is excellent for both the breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner. The two ladies and three or four gentlemen at the front desk consistently provide friendly and proactive service, and the concierges, both male and female, are also very enthusiastic. The hotel consistently has a high occupancy rate and is quite popular.

old and outdated rooms and furniture, also a funky smell at the lobby and room, smells like the windows havent been opened in a long while (i dont think you can even open them for safety reasons), but this is kinda my fault for choosing such an outdated hotel, i did not realise it from the pictures. I also had some stains on bed and pillow,which was quickly solved by Housekeeping which is nice, and they also sprayed an air freshener for me, and were even offering a different room,but since it was the exact same i did not change rooms. For me the AC felt too weak, but for my partner it was cold, so this is subjective.
Breakfast was mainly indonesian options with limited western food, but the quality in general was not satisfying. (The Napkins in the buffet smelled horrendous😨)
On the second day the breakfast was in a different restaurant of the hotel, which looked much nicer and cleaner, also had slightly better options.
The lobby looks very nice though. But for being this old it is maintained somewhat good, but i personally would go for a more modern hotel next time,. But staff are nice and welcoming. Overall i would give this one a 5/10.

This hotel offers a wonderful blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the facilities are impressive. I especially loved the huge lobby area with its inviting bar and cafeteria. The pool, gym, and sky garden were all fantastic additions that made the stay even more enjoyable.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but the building itself is old and historical, so they do feel a bit outdated . Where the hotel truly shined was breakfast—it was excellent, with a great variety of Western and local options made with high-quality ingredients.

It’s 4 star hotel.. rooms and services are excellent. Breakfast we didn’t add so eat outside or order from GrabFood. Location of hotel is in central Jakarta so missing some local markets or restaurants or shopping places near by.. for that need to take taxi it cost 20k small amount. Overall good hotel!
