I would like to extend our great appreciation for Ms. Lintang, Ms. Fanya and Mr. Rafi for their patience, professionalism, and prompt & stellar service for my senior parents who stayed at El Hotel after their medical treatment at Mitra Keluarga hospital. I made a last minute same day booking through Agoda from overseas and it was giving us issues. Even when my senior parents were getting impatient and irritated due to the issue they were having, El Hotel staff continued providing their very best attention and intention to assist us dealing with myself overseas, Agoda & my parents. Throughout the dealing they kept their patience & professionalism until it was solved in the best possible manner. A 4 stars hotel with 5 stars service, I can't thank them enough for their service & assistance. Highly recommended place to stay when you are in Kelapa Gading, you are in safe hands when you stay with El Hotel.

This hotel is considerably 'a bang for your buck' which have strategic location and much complete facility compared to other that charge the same rate. I spent a night in the hotel, my first impression was that the hotel is quite dark (that is because i cheked in well after 6pm) which then scared me because I thought that the hotel is ******* for some reason. Then, after I turn on every light that is available in the room, turns out its not that bad, it is very comfortable and clean. So here is my tip for any of you guys that wanted to stay here; do it.

Room value was great, living room air con compressor had some noise so had to shut it off. Gd location. Will return if need to go to Jakarta again.

We enjoyed our stay, spacious room, clean and full facilities with kitchen and dining table. Although the microwave in the room wasn’t working when we reached, the staff came to check and replaced it since they couldn’t fix it. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near MOI, but recommended by car since a bit difficult to walk there.

However, I feel the hotel is not really kids friendly. Apparently people are allowed to smoke in the lounge within the lobby area, made the whole floor smells like cigarettes. As well as the swimming pool area where kids are present. Made the swimming pool area smells unpleasant as well. When we were there, the water is murky, looks dirty but the staff said it’s caused by the cleaning solution is not settling in. A lot of other guest were not using their swimsuits even though there was written rules specifically to wear swimsuit in the pool, but the staffs were ignorant about it. There’s an incline floor to go to the pool which got very wet and slippery but there were no rubber mats placed.

It was during peak season when we stayed, so unfortunately the room service was very slow and there were tis the call wasn’t getting answered.

All in all, We enjoyed our stay.

Bad experience ever! The room cleanliness was poor, the floor was dusty. The service was also very bad, especially the manager’s communication. The staff’s communication from the front desk to security was not good.

From the reservation process until the stay itself, the experience was very unpleasant.

On New Year’s Eve, we were asked to pay an additional charge because we brought a baby aged 1 year and 3 months. The charge was Rp 100,000 per person, yet once inside there was no food suitable for a baby. We complained because there was no appropriate food provided.
The manager who was in charge at the time said,
“Only you are complaining; no one else is.”
In fact, most guests who brought children had kids mostly over 4 years old, which is reasonable since they can eat pasta and crepes.

Additionally, although parking was supposed to be free, when we were leaving, the security staff’s communication with the parking attendant was very poor.

Sangat amat tidak recommended untuk kami yang book kamar suite. Whereas the suite service at other hotels is usually excellent

éL Hotel has never failed me during my stay there every year. Super friendly and helpful staffs, excellent hospitality and service, comfortable room and delicious food are such understatement. Their consistency in service and quality has made me the regular member. Keep it up!

The place is in great location. The staff very friendly. The place is very clean. The food is great.
The room cleaner was excellent. They tidying up and clean the room very well, they even coiled your hair straighter and dryer. They changed your bed sheets and towel and stock the water daily.
