1. Worst at first: somebody tried to enter at 11.25 midnight without knocking the door, and when I yelled asking, the person stated it's room services and then he disappeared. What's on earth the room service at that time, dude?! And we didn't order anything, and it made us scared and unsafe. We tried to complaint but no receptionist stand by.
2. The most uncomfortable bed. Old-school spring bed that will stay you awake due to ache. Bed and sheet are dirty and dusty. It feels like nobody washed over the week.
3. Toilet leaks, bathroom is dirty. Low lighting thus it feels a bit spooky and no amenities provided. AC is not cooling enough.
4. All the furnitures are outdated and scratchy.
5. Overall it feels like horror motel.

Good place to stay. Clean and cozy

It should be a perfect place to stay while you want to have a holiday around Malioboro street and Jogja Palace, close to many restaurants. It is an old hotel and need so many renovations here and there. I were very dissapointed to find that my room were strongly smell of tobacco smoke ( I'm allergic to it ). It was solved after I asked the staff to change the bed cover and towels were dirty and smelly. If there were improvements, it is a recommended hotel because it's strategic hotel near malioboro.

nice place to hang out, the satay is delicious but not worth it with the price

They served wine and beer. It's one of the reasons Legian is a good place to hang out. Their foods are great with reasonable price.
