We had such an amazing stay at Alegra Boutique Hotel in the Signature Suite. It honestly felt like one of those rare places where everything just works perfectly. The suite itself was beautiful. Spacious, full of character, and designed in a way that feels both luxurious and very personal. You can tell a lot of thought went into every detail, from the decor to the bathroom to the comfort of the bed. It felt more like a private retreat than a hotel room, which made it perfect for a romantic getaway. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room, which immediately set the tone. And the bath was just incredible. Big, relaxing, and exactly what you want after a day out. It really added to the whole experience. The atmosphere of the hotel is something special. Quiet, calm, and surrounded by the charm of Ein Kerem. You immediately feel relaxed the moment you arrive. The service was also excellent. The team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being too much. It all felt very natural and personal. Everything from the cleanliness to the design to the overall experience was on a really high level. We truly enjoyed every moment and would absolutely come back.

Beautiful Hotel, Disappointing Maintenance
The room was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable, but there were noticeable maintenance issues: the toilet flush broke with every press, moisture in the ceiling fell on us during the night, and the conditioner dispenser was empty.

Service was disappointing. We arrived for breakfast at 8:45 (starting at 8:30), but the buffet wasn’t ready. Only hard-boiled eggs and shakshuka were available. When I asked for other options, I was told that’s all there was. Yet, 30 minutes later, the staff made omelets for guests who arrived after us. Also, reception was often unmanned, and we had to call for assistance even during staffed hours.

The hotel grounds, however, are beautiful and well-maintained.

Alegra Hotel is beautiful and full of charm. The staff was really friendly, giving plenty of advices, helping us find a guide, making bookings for us in restaurants, etc. The breakfast was really delicious. We very much appreciated the warm welcome and highly recommend this place!

good location BUT very poor maintenance. Room not clean, no one at reception desk, no wi-fi in the room, broken tv, broken water . tap in .the shower, POOR Breakfast. Even the room keys were mistaken: Our keys and neighbor room keys were identical and this affected our privacy and security

My husband, two friends and I arrived in Israel for what was a planned vacation, only three hours after the war started on October 7th. We tried to leave the country right away from the TLV airport, but were unable to, and then threats were being made on the airport. We decided to drive to Alegra Hotel, which we had booked in Jerusalem for that evening. Amir greeted us upon arrival and could not have taken better care of us. He was a model of hospitality. He calmly showed us the bomb shelter and provided us with other pertinent emergency information. He told us that Jerusalem would be a safe place to be. He helped us to our rooms, and then opened up his kitchen to us, since we hadn't eaten in several hours. He opened up drawers and showed us where they kept cheese, vegetables and eggs, showed us how the stove worked, told us we could help ourselves to drinks, really anything you would want in a situation like that. He made sure we had Wifi so that we could work on getting back home, showed us how to lock all of the doors, and made sure we had everything we needed. We will never forget his hospitality, graciousness and calm under pressure. Beyond that, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and is just what you see online. The grounds are lovely and there is a beautiful and serene courtyard and rooftop with a great view. The rooms were clean, pretty, well-stocked and very comfortable. Our room had large windows with plenty of natural light. The neighborhood itself is really nice as well, you're just outside of Jerusalem proper, and it's lovely with restaurants and its own attractions. It was about 15 minutes away from downtown Jerusalem. If this is how they treat guests in circumstances such as ours, we can't imagine the experience without the tragedy of war. Thanks again Amir, we will never forget you!

There are no words that can describe my experience there. The hotel is so beautiful and special, clean and spacy. The staff is very friendly, pleasant and courteous , with a very high sense of service. Everything I asked for, was answered with a big smile. The breakfast is excellent. In conclusion, an amazing and special hotel, a perfect experience.

It was a very charming facility but some times to not have all the amenities that we would desire. We had to request breakfast the night before, and it was only certain types of food. They forgot to clean up the room one day. It was quintessential Israel and would’ve been better for just a couple of days as opposed to eight nights.
