Reviews
Traveling all the way from New York, everything about this stay has been an absolute breeze. From the moment you arrive, the service, hospitality, food, and rooms are all handled at the highest level. The attention to detail and genuine care from the staff truly make you feel welcome and relaxed.
I especially want to recognize Iris, Angelina, Shirez, Orel, Shachan, and Marc at the front desk—each one of them went above and beyond and made the experience feel personal and effortless. Honestly, everywhere you turn, the people here are just amazing.
If you’re looking to disconnect, recharge, and truly enjoy your stay at the Dead Sea, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. This is hospitality done right.
The service and staff were poor and definitely not fitting an hotel at that grade and pricing.
The rooms were ok, but the facilities need to be updated and more thoughtful care for things like proper number of towels, toiletries and blankets.
We won’t be back.
Place
The hotel is huge, with many rooms, activities, restaurants, and spaces to keep guests entertained. The lobby is impressive and spacious, headline-worthy in itself, with shops, bars, and restaurants spread throughout.
Room
The room was very large and offered a great view. Plenty of space to move around, with comfortable beds. Air conditioning worked well, as did the TV and fridge. The bathroom was also spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. Everything functioned properly.
Food
The restaurant is massive, and the buffet is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes. Meat was cooked on the spot, which ensured quality but also meant long queues. The hotel was almost fully booked and hosted many families. Unfortunately, guest behaviour during the buffet was a major downside. Many people ignored queues and took excessive amounts of food, especially in the meat and children’s sections. Food waste was extreme, with multiple tables leaving large amounts untouched and thrown away. This is something the hotel should manage more strictly.
Entertainment
The musical show was good, with engaging performers who sang and danced well. Sadly, guest behaviour again affected the experience. Children ran freely without supervision, and noise levels were high. One child repeatedly touched the sound system, turning the volume up while parents filmed and laughed. This felt unsafe and uncomfortable, and staff had little control over the situation.
Staff
Reception staff were helpful. We requested a change in bed arrangement, and it was handled fairly quickly.
Facilities
A strong highlight is the private Dead Sea beach, located about a five-minute walk from the hotel. Facilities there were complete, with sunbeds, showers, and lifeguards available.
Overall
The hotel offers ok infrastructure, spacious rooms, and good facilities. However, the lack of control over guest behaviour significantly affects the experience. With better management in shared areas, this could be a much more enjoyable stay. Also, general improvement to the overall hotel facility.
The rooms are a bit worn down: the toilet got stuck, the mirrors are chipped, the A/C didn’t work well, the sofa bed was the worst - it made so much noise that every time our daughter turned around everyone woke up and the same happened in our second room
For everyone who’s not familiar, staying on a Saturday means that the food is only partially available.
If you’re eating in the dining room, the service is far from being satisfactory - the food isn’t amazing either
Should you want to order a cocktail at the hotel bar be ready to part ways with 50 NIS per cocktail… and don’t expect an amazing one either
The SPA with the heated mineral pool is quite good although they’ve closed the sulphur pools
There were plenty of other maintenance issues with the facilities in this aging hotel - it’s a shame that the hotel didn’t invest enough in staying up to date
What makes it even worst are the prices, I can’t understand the justification to charge what they’re charging - totally not worth it
Enjoyed
Day 2: The workers are not good, the lunch was really bad and there was no choice of food we had to ask the workers to give us we asked the workers to bring more food they gave us frozen shnitzel, so we went to the reception to tell them that the food was awfull and to give us money back, the owner of the hotel (Yulia) didnt give us anything. The hotel is dirty and it has a lot of cockroaches. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the dead sea.
