Description

Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv is a 5-star property constructed in 1965 and renovated in 2014, offering 56 rooms in a single 17-story building. It sits on a cliff above the Mediterranean Sea, providing direct access to a public sandy beach just 50 meters away, with free beach towels available. The hotel features two restaurants specializing in Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine, two bars, an indoor freshwater pool, and an outdoor seawater pool. A full SPA center with Cybex equipment, a business center, and extensive conference facilities accommodate up to 1500 guests. Families will appreciate the dedicated kids' facilities including an open pool section, mini club, paid nanny services, and a children’s menu. Free Wi-Fi and parking are included. Despite its prime sea-front location, the property shows signs of aging, with some guests noting tired rooms and slow service. However, many praise the professional and calm staff, especially during challenging times. Expect a classic Hilton experience with spacious rooms and diverse amenities.

Location

The hotel is situated at HaYarkon Street 205, Tel Aviv, Israel, right on the first line of the Mediterranean coast. Hilton Beach is only 100 meters away, allowing guests to walk to the sea in under a minute. It is about 2 kilometers from Sde Dov Airport (SDV) and approximately 30 kilometers from Ben Gurion International Airport. Nearby points of interest include the Pilots Memorial in Independence Park, just 238 meters away, and several popular dining options like Yakimono restaurant at 45 meters, Pizza Fino at 254 meters, and Benedict at 262 meters. The hotel’s elevated location on a cliff offers fantastic views of the sea and easy access to city attractions within walking distance.

Tips

  • If you are a Hilton Honors member, clarify breakfast and lounge access policies in advance to avoid surprises.
  • Request a room away from the executive lounge entrance to reduce noise disturbances.

We scheduled a trip to Israel and arrived in late February 2026. As you know, the war with Iran started on February 28, 2026. We extended our stay until early March 2026, primarily due to the Hilton Tel Aviv’s team professionalism, calm demeanor, and competency during the daily multiple incoming missile and rocket alerts with audible interceptions. It was obvious that the Hilton Tel Aviv team has trained for such critical incidents. Additionally, previous incident responses had been debriefed, analyzed, improvements implemented, and refined to the calm, smooth execution of an action plan(s) we experienced. The front office, back of house operations, housekeeping, food and beverage, kitchen and food production, engineering, maintenance, information technology, and security performed as an experienced cohesive team with a positive mental attitude throughout our stay. The Hilton Tel Aviv team was calm, professional, and met the multi-generational needs of the guests and the general public in the hotel and shelter. From the elderly that needed assistance to the shelter, providing portable cribs for families in the shelter, and everything in between. All of this occurred while the hotel continued its normal operations in the middle of a war. The Hilton Tel Aviv team exemplified Hilton’s core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and now in an extremely challenging environment during our stay. Experiencing the Hilton Tel Aviv team perform in a calm, very competent manner during our stay was very reassuring. We’ve been fortunate and have traveled to multiple countries on six continents and have experienced other critical incidents. It's rare to see and experience that level of excellence. Keep it up, it is appreciated. We’ll be returning to the Hilton Tel Aviv.

Booked a Twin Deluxe Seaview for one night, as a Diamond member via Hilton app. Positives: - The hotel is only a minute away from the sea front and you can walk there for hours. - The area seems safe. - The food and drinks at the executive lounge were exceptional, service there friendly, the atmosphere and guests were also good. You get good food all day long. Some guests even had a bottle of wine at their table. This is quite surprising if you come from Europe and their sad exec lounges there. Negatives: - The hotel planned to put us in a king room instead of a twin (even though I always write in the preference section: two beds). As a result, it was difficult for them to re-arrange and find a twin room after our arrival. The room we finally got was directly opposite the entrance to the exec lounge and it was very loud there. - We got a room on the "not so good side" with poor views, less light etc. OK, half of all guests have to take this side, but as a loyal guest with approximately 70-90 stays per year, you would expect a somewhat better choice. - The check-in and check-out took forever, the front desk staff was not helpful and borderline rude. - Depending on what you prefer, you may not enjoy all the guests there, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

The Hilton is an old school hotel in the best sense - spacious, with lush grounds and the rooms have balconies, a far cry from the modern, glassed-in office/hotels. The location is great, right on the sea with fantastic views and above some of the best beaches, not on a noisy road like most seafront hotels. A bit far from Carmel Mkt and Jaffa (both still walkable) but great for Dizengoff etc. Excellent 25m pool, service all round very high standard. Breakfast? Well, very good salads and cheeses, great coffee, but fresh fruits a little lacking at the tropical end. Pastries: the loaf cakes were very good but the patisserie tasted chill-part-baked and could have been a lot better. Also, zero in the way of cold meats. Overall, at the pricier end, but fantastic locations, space, service views all far better than some more expensive options - highly recommended!

I'm a Hilton Honors member for many years, vacillating between Diamond and Gold status. I gave my adult daughter Hilton Honor points for 5 nights to celebrate her birthday at Hilton, Tel Aviv. I was shocked when she was told at check-in they wouldn't honor the free breakfast included in my Honors status without me being there. In all my years of giving my children points, no hotel has ever denied my children the privileges that are awarded me. Instead, Hilton Tel Aviv wants to charge her $54 for breakfast, $270 for 5 days. So shortsighted and tacky. I could have used other credit card points besides Hilton for her to stay at another hotel that does include benefits that are awarded to me, the card holder. Honor members beware of this practice although Hilton Tel Aviv may be the only hotel that has this practice. I spoke with Hilton Honors customer service. They tried to help but the hotel refused to budge.

What a view. You can't get any better of a location. The staff is great. Rooms are large. Walking distance to almost everything. The breakfast is great. Just missing some beef or poultry.

I did not stay at the hotel. I did however schedule massages for me and a friend. We both felt the Thai oil massage was amazing. The spa itself is another thing. There was no where to remove or dress for privacy. The showers are tiny. The steam room was out of order. There was no body lotion available after taking a shower.

There was cockroach on my night stand. I complained to the Manager Jason Hare and was told that it’s part of nature. I vehemently disagree!! Are you serious. It about cleanliness and obviously they’re below standards. Horrible experience. Horrible!!
