I’ve traveled the world, staying at many fine places across the globe. This hotel is now in my top five! This family run hotel - where multiple generations work side by side serving guests with an authentic, warm smiles - boats very comfortable rooms, outstanding food, and a lovely spa. I’ve never had better service at five star places across the globe. Proximity to Kronplatz was a huge bonus a with ski-in location. Can’t wait to return.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and was absolutely charmed by the quality of service, the friendliness of the staff, and the impeccable ambiance. The cuisine is an added bonus, allowing you to savor every dish, prepared with imagination, exquisite taste, and respect for tradition. The indoor and outdoor (heated) pools with stunning views are stunning. Our room had a jacuzzi on the terrace overlooking the mountains, perfect for relaxing alone or for couples. Highly recommended!

The property offers every amenity imaginable. The decor is meticulously crafted, and the cuisine boasts a rich menu with exquisite flavors, while also being inspired by local traditions. The rooms are brand new, and mine offer breathtaking mountain views, which can be enjoyed from the private Jacuzzi on the balcony. The spa features several saunas at varying temperatures, and the pool is part indoors, part outdoors, and can be used in winter thanks to its warm water temperature. The bar also serves cocktails crafted to perfection, and the surrounding area offers plenty of activities. In conclusion, I'd say the family-run nature of the hotel is a plus, as the history of the property easily captivates guests. Highly recommended!

Everything is perfect. It feels more than a hotel; you'll be greeted by a super family, attentive to your every need. You'll be pampered in every way, and upon arrival, you'll be given a full tour of the hotel, where everything is explained down to the last detail. There are cards in your room to remind you of things. In the evening, while you dine in your room, a very tender thought lingers. The space is very cozy and soundproofed. The spa is small but very well-maintained, and the relaxation area is fantastic. The restaurant and bar are excellently priced; the dishes are very well prepared, with an emphasis on the perfect amount. The wine list is very popular, enhancing the local produce. The cocktails at the bar are well-made and very reasonably priced. You'll be overcome with melancholy upon leaving, so be warned!

We have never experienced this level of hospitality, quality and style. As a graphic designer/stylist myself I was amazed with all the details; from styling, to all communication, to the choice and quality of food, to the staff that radiated they really feel part of the family and enjoys making your stay as comfortable as possible. A big applaus for all the hard work they put in creating the ultimate guest experience. We LOVED it.

What a wonderful week we had at the Hotel Petrus! The staff and owners are the nicest, thanks for the little attentions and gifts. We really felt even better than home. Everything is perfect at every level. The food was delicious, from the breakfast to the evening meal, and the service was amazing, wether it is at the table or at the bar. Located in a magnificent region, we recommend it 100%. Special thanks to the best waiter, Gino, and the owner Gerti for her authenticity and kindness. Family Poncin

My daughter and I were there on our winter ski holiday and we are delighted with the place. A great place to relax, beautifully decorated and well maintained rooms, a very large and beautifully decorated spa and relaxation area with an outdoor pool open all year round. Delicious food served to the table (even breakfast is served in a totally unique way) on a varied menu, the quality and taste is pure poetry and the chef is an exceptional master of his craft. And most importantly in each hotel, the atmosphere created by a team of wonderful, smiling, friendly and extremely competent people who pampered us at every turn and allowed us to fully relax, both after our efforts on the slopes and mentally. To complete the skiing experience, the Kronplatz ski run, which ends under the balconies of the hotel. I for one am looking forward to going there again.

As close to a 5* as you'll find.... What's not to love at Hotel Petrus? - very friendly family run hotel with no attention to detail spared by the lovely 3 sisters - large, bright and spacious rooms with beautiful views - great restaurant with a matching wine list and a slick cellar + well stocked bar and a lounge with ample seating areas for whatever ales you..... - very accomodating Chef who tweaked the Menu to suit my fussy diet and made fresh almond butter every morning! - every dinner was top notch, equal to a Michelin Star * - by far the best breakfast of my 4 hotels in Italy with loads of freshly made goods - super location, a short walk to Kronplatz although they have a shuttle - a longer walk into Brunico but manageable - ski back to the hotel - a fitness area with well optioned Spa + a swim out pool - yoga room for stretching - plenty of parking

Great place with nice accommodations (rooms, fitness, pool, sauna and peaceful garden), delicious food (and flexible on demand) and super friendly staff (smile, helpful and super nice). 10 perfect days to relax and enjoy South Tyrol atmosphere!
