Eight Cortina in Cortina d'Ampezzo

I would give this 4.5 stars - the design is very cool. I'm sure during the winter there is a great vibe. Be mindful of the road noise if that affects you. The management team certainly did their best to accommodate us during our stay - Matteo is the best!

When you renovate an old building it is very hard to get layouts right so I can understand the challenges there. The location is great, it's right off the main street and very accessible.

The service was great situationally and everyone was very lovely, but I wish I spoke better Italian.

Rooms were cool, but as mentioned the layouts were challenged due to a renovation of a historical property and on some of the lower floors facing the main road you can hear the noise, plus the gas station's light is blinding at night.

I'd personally stay somewhere else but would certainly wan to hang out there. Food was great all around and some wonderful people there! Cute boutique hotel.

We chose this hotel because we wanted a place with A/C during the heat wave. What a perfect location, right next to the main downtown with restaurants and shops. Beautiful views and the room was very luxurious. Great service, would definitely stay here again. For others who are google review browsing for hotels, there are not many hotels with A/C in Cortina so this was a lucky find on a hot day!

Fantastic hotel with superb views and very good staff. Everyone you encountered from the staff was kind, service minded and flexible with a personal touch. The hotel is very clean and the view was honestly outstanding.

Everything was perfect. The location was very central, with views of the Tofana and Faloria mountains. In a place like Cortina, it was exactly what I was looking for. Special thanks to all the staff, who were friendly and always available. Breakfast was simply impeccable. Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent room service.

Lovely hotel. Bistro Cortina had fabulous food and drinks. Great views and close to everything from the hotel. Staff were so nice and helpful. Can’t thank them enough!

We stayed at the Eight Cortina on our trip through Cortina d'Ampezzo and could not have picked a better place to stay. The hotel itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, and centrally located, but what set it apart was the staff. Never have I enjoyed such directed attention at every level. They truely set the standard for service. I will always remeber our stay at Eight Cortina because of the people.
