Hotel Corona Krone in Selva di Val Gardena

Beautiful service, food and location, this has been one of the best accommodations I have stayed at in Europe. Would definitely come here again and again. The food is delicious and the hotel has a very beautiful and homely feel to it.

The staff particularly have been extraordinarily welcoming and friendly. They were able to assist me in communicating with a car rental agency I was having difficulty with.

Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Welcoming and quaint. Excellent, bright and spacious room. Adequate breakfast, even with hoarders. Excellent dinner. A nice touch: fresh flowers in the living room.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Val Gardena. Very centrally located next to ski lifts and restaurants and outdoor sporting goods stores. Very friendly owners and staff with a apre ski bar and light restaurant on property. Very impressive spa on site with Jacuzzi tub and three different sauna.

Central location, free outdoor parking, very helpful and friendly staff, and breakfast and dinner exceeded expectations. Very close to Selva's main ski lift (Ciampinoi, 100 meters away), making it perfect for both summer and winter. The wellness center is small but clean and comfortable. The owner, austere and reserved by nature, was very understanding of our (unfortunately) early departure, two days early... we'll definitely be returning next winter. Mountain-facing rooms are preferable, as they're definitely quieter.

We know Selva like the back of our hands, but always stay in a B&B. This time we opted for half board so we wouldn't have to search for somewhere to eat every night. It was a great choice; this very characteristic hotel had always intrigued us as we passed by, and also because we'd often used the nearby stube, which is owned by the same owner (see another review). Having booked late, we settled for an economy room without a street-facing balcony, but it was still beautiful, clean, and with a spacious bathroom. We slept excellently; with the window closed, we couldn't hear the street. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, adding a touch of cheerfulness; the owner, Mr. Vinatzer, was austere but helpful. Breakfast and dinner were superb, with plenty of options allowing for constant menu changes. The strudel was always available, which was excellent. The spa was small but immaculately kept and clean, and it has everything you need, including herbal teas. In conclusion, as the title says, an excellent solution, with an excellent quality/price ratio.

Historic hotel located near the Ciampinoi (100 meters) and Dantercepies (700 meters) cable cars. Rooms furnished in traditional Val Gardena wood, well-spaced and very clean. The food is made with excellent ingredients and prepared with professionalism. The only small drawback is the time it takes to clean the rooms. On days with many arrivals and departures, there was a slight delay. Overall, an excellent hotel and a convenient location. The bus stop for the mountain passes is also nearby. Very competitive prices considering that Val Gardena is quite expensive.

I stayed at the Hotel Corona for a weekend on a bed and breakfast basis. I stayed in a spacious single room, always clean and well-maintained, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff were helpful. My only complaint, which doesn't concern the hotel, is that across the street, next to the ski school, there's a pub open late at night that disturbed my sleep. The rude, noisy people were a bit annoying, but I reiterate, it's not the fault of the Corona management, which, as per the review, I rated excellent. I'll definitely be back, perhaps requesting a room with a different view.
