Hotel Stauder in Toblach

Nice family hotel on the outskirts of Dobbiaco. The rooms are clean, with a good and comfortable bed. The only thing I missed in the room was a kettle. The breakfasts had enough choice, with fresh eggs and pleasant service. The small wellness also fulfilled its function after skiing. The hotel is located near the bus station, where you can go on a trip for free with the Sudtirol card. Parking right in front of the hotel, a pleasant welcome and a gift from Cristina on departure were great. We will definitely be happy to come back.

I had a very nice 4-day stay at Hotel Stauder. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, good-sized bathrooms and small patios. I would call the decor traditional with modern accents.

The cooking is excellent, both at breakfast — which has many tasty options — and at dinner which you can choose to take at the hotel, or not. If you want dinner at the hotel, be sure to reserve even if you’re a guest…they’re strict about that.

I also received helpful advice about the local hiking options and how to travel to them. And the hotel is very close to the bus station (busbanhof) so quite convenient if you want to go to Tre Cimi or Lago do Braies without the hassle of parking your car at those overcrowded destinations.

Stauder was absolutely delightful. We loved the Panorama Junior Suite -- very spacious and comfortable with unbelievable views to the South and West of the Dolomites. The breakfast was decadent with wonderful, personal service, which can also be said of the dinners in house as well. We especially appreciated the made to order items off the breakfast menu and the 4-course dinner (which was very reasonably priced). We weren't sure we wanted to be right in town, but we're glad we did because it was such a lovely town to stroll around in the evenings and it was even nicer to have everything we needed, meals included, at Stauder so that we could really relax once we got home from the days' activities. Finally, the service provided by Christina and family was top notch -- from hiking recommendations, local events, and weather reports to complimentary bikes, apéritifs and even birthday decorations, we truly felt like welcomed guests. We can't recommend Stauder more.

Fabulous guesthouse!
Wish I could have stayed longer. Great base to explore the area and daily suggestions for local hikes sounded fabulous- I just didn’t have time to do them as I was cycling. Daily newsletter was v informative.

A wonderful, family run hotel, with an excellent standard of accommodation. Beautifully presented, delicious food and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we hope to return one day.

We spent a week at the hotel and immediately felt welcomed at home by the owner Cristina, kind and helpful especially for my GLUTENFREE needs. Clean, beautiful environment, care and goodness in the dishes, Optimal to be able to reach the main places of interest, The daughter Anna very prepared in recommending the best excursions, Possibility of access to the spa, very well maintained. I highly recommend it for a vacation or weekend getaway whether with family, friends or romantic.
