On a brighter note, the majority of the hotel staff was courteous and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality was a silver lining to the otherwise gloomy experience.

However, the same cannot be said for the hotel manager. Her demeanor was the antithesis of the warm reception we received from the rest of the staff. Her rudeness and lack of professionalism were astonishing, making any interaction with her an utterly unpleasant experience. It's disheartening to see such a discord in customer service in a place that prides itself on a high rating.

In conclusion, the price paid was not justified by the outdated facilities and the unpleasant interaction with the hotel manager. A revision of the star rating and a serious overhaul of the premises are imperative to align the hotel’s offerings with the prices charged and the expectations set by the rating.
