Hotel Club Helios in Noto

Worst experience I never had in a hotel. Service was terrific. The manager took one hour to do the checkout and was saying that he don’t have the time his family was waiting to eat with him.. The checkin is at 4pm and the checkout at 10:30am .. I never see something like that before. The breakfast was so poor if you came at 9am don’t expect to eat something.. and the room I felt like I back in the 90’. This hotel don’t dercerve three stars. Ah and if you need WiFi don’t expect to use it in this hotel you’ll need a lot of patience...

To begin with, you have to remember it's a 3 star hotel. The place this hotel is built in, is truly astounding: beautiful sea-view, sand, kind of remote from cities so it is not crowded. However, remoteness comes with some downsides, for example there is no night-life, no local shops (only some mini-markets that offer you a small range of things you can get, additionally, prices are exorbitant compared to supermarkets.
In my opinion, one of the worst things about this place is breakfast. Once you get to the so-called restaurant, you notice there is little you can eat: slices of some kind of meat, probably pork, that was bought on any supermarket, cheese and yogurt. Maybe italians tend to eat croissants for breakfast but I don't count it and all sorts of muffins food. As well as that, there were no vegetables, only fruit. The dinner was decent enough, though.
The most important thing to know before getting here is that the staff's English skills are humorous. So learning basics of Italian will certainly help you out.
Furthermore, the room is simple, it has furniture from 90s, haha. The balcony hasn't neither a table, nor any chairs (no ash tray as well). There was a string tied to "balcony fence" so we used it as a drying hanger. I guess you could see how it all looks in their page or wherever.
To put it all in a nutshell, don't choose this place if you love night-life. Familiarise with Italian because you will definitely need it. Prepare for dessert-only breakfast. And don't expect too much from a 3 star hotel ! Cheers.
