We stayed at this hotel from 15 to 22. Initially, we checked into room 963, which is practically the farthest building. We asked for something closer, but were told only tomorrow

Amazing, all you need! Amazing selection of food and drinks. Great service. Lots to do onsite. Great location for day trips and also offered shuttle bus trips.

Two that stood out were our maid Angela who looked after our room and Angelo who looked after us each breakfast time in the signature level breakfast room. It's well worth doing some of the excursions

The beach was clean and comfortable and the pools are welcoming with enough space to sit and relax

Erasmo at the beach pool is very friendly and helpful. Having your own transport is helpful, as it is about a 30 minute walk to a supermarket or to Portichello, where there are bars and restaurants

The hotel offers two pools, a private beach area, gym with a wide range of equipment, padel and tennis courts, ensuring you’re never short of activities

The walk into the local village was also anti-climatic, not much to see and did not feel the safest as two female travellers. We spent most of the trip in the hotel, quite lucky the hotel was lovely!

Pros: • Cleanliness: The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Public areas and toilet facilities were clean and regularly attended to. • Facilities: There is always something to do

Service was chaotic at times, with long waits (up to an hour) and confusion between courses. It felt like their system for taking and deliver

This hotel has so much potential but there are several odd practices that need to be changed. Food lukewarm at best, although pretty good products. Lovely grounds and beach area. AI drinks too small, shops mostly closed

When booking the website said snacks available throughout the day. The only snacks available within AI at the pool bar was what seemed to be left over breakfast pastries or cold squares of pizza

One pool offers music and activities and the other more relaxed. The third "indoor" pool isn't indoors, just had a sliding cover which was open. I guess this is used in colder months

Prices as of Sept 2025 were very reasonable. Pools - The 2 outdoor pools offer plenty of sun loungers. The reservation of beds is not stood for and is controlled by the life guards

Also the 3rd pool is only accessible via the spa (payment required). The Spa - We did use the spa facilities. Massage was great as were both the wet and dry saunas

The public spaces were clean and comfortable, the pool area was clean but there was a definite lack of sunbeds and we didn't swim because of the bathing cap rule

We actually drove longer distances outside Palermo with our rental car and walked or took the bus to the centre. The swimming pool is located on the roof, but it was exceptionally small sized

Pool is not great but nicly located at top floor. What I really fid nit like is how they handle luggage storage

It’s kept in open room close to reception theoretically reception watches over it but when i came to pick up my luggage stuff at front desk was overwhelmed with guests and just walked in took my stuff no questions asked (and people in reception weee different shift that did not know me, so ai would not be v supportive if anyone could walk in and take your luggage)

The hotel's breakfast is served on the 14th floor, which is a bit difficult to reach by lift at breakfast time, but the breakfast itself is tasty and extensive, including scrambled eggs and fried bacon

After reading some of the reviews of the hotel, I was dreading checking in. Yes, the hotel is a bit out of the way, in quite a run down area but Ubers and taxis were reasonably cheap

As mentioned, great location, very close to the sea, and a short and nice walk away from Cefalù. There is a hotel beach as well with sunbeds. We visited 9-14 Sept, and we never had problems finding free sunbeds

The rooms may need some modernisation, but this was not an issue. Also, there was a safe box in the room. As of the staff in general, very friendly people, they were always nice and attentive to anything we needed

Breakfast in the restaurant basic, but definitely sufficient. Dinner very good and veeeeery tasty (compliments to the chef and the staff!). There is also a bistro at the hotel, where you can buy something tasty for lunch

During the peak season it may be more challenging. Overall very positive experience. A few extra notes: There is a train track next to the hotel, but the trains are not very frequent and do not make much noise

Not a nuisance at all, but I mention for the picky ones ;) Conveniently, there is MD supermarket across the street

Its a 25 mins walk from the train station, so its not in the center of cefulu Room was big and ac worked well. Breakfast was basic and average

The evening also offers entertainment at the pool bar, doing quizzes for all nationalities and live music

The hotel,setting is beautiful,the staff very nice pool is beautiful and clean,rooms are nice and clean and nice views,cleaners very nice and in every day,beach is lovely there are big stones/pebbles but that’s they type of beach it is natural

The pool area is perfect for lounging around, also offering activities such as water gym at a couple of points through the day

You do have to pay extra for towels for outside and for the safe

Me and my partner have just had a weeks stay at this resort and from reading the reviews I was skeptical but I can honestly say it’s one of the best places we have stayed. The resort itself is absolutely stunning

The staff are attentive and friendly, some of whom you can tell really love their job. There is an onsite mini mart where you can purchase items such as cigarettes, suncream, beach wear and bags

Pool opens May 1 but you can sit poolside and enjoy the fresh air and greenery surrounding the pool. Terrific restaurant and attentive wait staff. Room was generously sized and super clean

You have to join Mr motivator for his poolathon, exercises in the pool, he is fab and so enjoyable to listen to. Two people stood out, Mateo and Claudia M

Great location a 15 min walk from central train station and on the waterfront. You do have to walk 10+ minutes to get to restaurants and 15+ min to the historic city center

With a heatwave hitting throughout my 3-day stay, the best decision I could have made was to choose this hotel specifically for its pool – and boy, did we enjoy it! The atmosphere was super chill, complete with a DJ, the lush surrounding garden, and the perfectly tempered water

Very comfortable hotel, cheerful and helpful staff especially Martina and Leo in the restaurant. Great pool spoiled by very loud pop music in the poolside seating area. Overall a very good stay, thank you

Breakfast was fabulous, offering a wide and comprehensive variety to suit all tastes, including juices, fresh fruit, cold cuts, hot dishes, omelettes, and naturally, excellent coffee! Leo's attentiveness, and indeed that of the entire staff, was exceptional

First Day here ... bit hard to find with hotels directions... Hotel is clean, Drinks were good at pool bar

In a group of 18 I can not fault the hotel, the staff the Resturant team and especially the animation team (entertainment) We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived and like friends by the next day The holiday has been one to remember with memories never to be forgotten

However there are a few who would benefit from a change of career, quite miserable Negatives, walls seem to be paper thin, we can here all from next door

mi s walk with more activity's on the beach including jet Skies banana boat and parachute. Evening meal was also very nice with different themes every night. Evening entertainment was also good Would I come again?

Bizarre system of being required to buy credit in advance for bar/ food with any unspent surplus retained by the hotel. Beach and pool towels available for hire! Felt generally ripped off

First of all the rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Fresh linen and towel provided each day. The pool areas are clean, tidy and family friendly. There is entertainment on around throughout the day

The worst thing for me are the beds. It would have been more comfortable sleeping outside by the pool. I have one night left here and I am genuinely dreading going to bed tonight

The entertainment team were exceptional, always ready to meet you with a smile and friendly face. Great food and drinks and in a beautiful setting, with easy access to cefalu. I will definitely be back again

We had an incredible time at the hotel! Everything was perfect, from our spacious, modern seafront room with breathtaking views to the fantastic amenities that truly made it feel like a home away from home

An amazing hotel, so friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is no trouble for any of the staff to do anything for you. The bar staff are all excellent, especially bar manager Rosario

Breakfast was also very rich! We really appreciated the pool area and the private beach, reachable in a few minutes

A bit disappointed on arrival. Big plus: magnificent view from the bar and restaurant. The pool is very deep, with few areas suitable for young children. As for the food, there are always good dishes

Increasingly disappointed with Club Marmara. The sea is nearby with a free shuttle train. This is the first hotel where the cleaning staff and restaurant staff don't say hello

The evening entertainment was engaging but never intrusive, perfect for those who, like us, were looking for a mix of relaxation and fun. A special thanks goes to the staff for making our holiday so special

As for the restaurant, it's repetitive, tasteless, and there's always less meat when you arrive. Beware! Don't listen too much to the Marmara representative who tries to sell you expensive and pointless excursions

Amazing as usually! I stayed there more than 20 times and always happy. Reception team is friendliest ever, Antonella very cute. Room was amazing even had sunbed on balcony

Although the swimming pool was closed when I went there. The lobby bar service was a bit poor and it was also quite dirty. I was too lazy to go out so I ate at the hotel. The food was good but overall it was a bit salty

Part of the hotel has been renovated so you can insist on newer rooms with better furniture. Balconies are small but the view is nice. The promenade that leads to the city is excellent

The grilled fish and pasta for dinner were good, prepared in a Mediterranean style with olive oil and salt, and quite tasty

We mainly booked it for the pool and view of the ocean. Our first night our room was so hot, we eventually realized the AC wasn't working at all until we asked to move rooms and it was much better in the second room

Pool and ocean access is great and if you keep walking past the pool there is a private beach club guests also have access to. Big spread for breakfast and lunch was decent too

All the healthy options one could want. Plenty of fruit, meats, breads, croissants & cakes View from our room & balcony was superb. Loved every minute of our stay

There is not a sand beach around the hotel, only a small beach with rocks but it didn't bother us

View was amazing, honestly exceeded my expectations

The food was amazing, had we gone with our children we would have struggled a bit(they are rather fussy), but the two of us enjoyed everything! Our only little annoyance, was the pool- lovely and clean but just a touch cold! Would have been better for us if it was slightly warmer, however we understand it's a naturally heated pool so it's not going to be warm all year

When I made the reservation, I wondered if breakfast and dinner were included. Was this an all-inclusive resort? I didn't quite understand, but it was. Snacks, drinks, and a dinner buffet were included

We went as a belated wedding anniversary, we were treated really well. We got a cake and fruit platter on arrival to the room!! The hotel was fantastic, really clean and looked really good

Of course, we went out to eat at the restaurant, but it was nice to be able to come back and enjoy a glass of wine, a beer, and some fruit in the hotel restaurant

It was a nice stay, we had a relaxed time in this hotel. All stuff is very friendly and ready to help you. Will consider this structure for my next trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort in Sicily! The place is stunning , a perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, and warm hospitality

The spa is also a really nice opportunity to unwind even more. Location: The resort is tucked away in a resort area, but Sciacca is ~10 min away by car and has great restaurants, stores + shopping

On check in, we had the most amazing and friendly service from Carmen who went out of the way to explain the resort - absolutely top class! If there was one thing to improve, we found the € 95

0” rather expensive for the very tiny lobster we got - an oversized plate with a lot of vegetables and three bites of lobster…. 🦞 otherwise F&B was also very good

Athena resort is like being in a heavenly garden - beautiful, colorful bougainvilleas and oleanders, olive trees, palms and huge cactus-trees surround the small two-floors buildings

We had a wonderful stay at Athena Resort. The staff were always motivated to help us, and the concierge went out of their way to guide us through local attractions

During the night we enjoy listen music in the piano bar singing by Desiree, she is very professional, she has a very beautiful voice and also we can say that she is a very beautiful lady very well dressed and very elegant too

The vibe and atmosphere is amazing and worth the price of drinks to wander through the gardens and peek at the swimming pool!

It was large, clean and had a BALCONY with views of the ocean! Breakfast was included in the base price and it was a full breakfast with every breakfast food you can imagine! Bacon, eggs, potatoes, fresh squeezed OJ, pastries, breads, yogurt, coldcuts, etc

The facilities include 3 pools, hot tubs, restaurants, an elevator that takes you to street level so you can walk the 5 minutes to the beach, free beach chairs and an umbrella at the beach

etc! We added the dinner option and it was unbelievable also! Nightly, they had pasta station with like 5 kinds of pasta, salad bar, Antipasti bar, meat station (with 4 different meat choices), dessert station with at least 8 pastries nightly AND gelato

Don't let the low price scare you away! This place is AMAZING! I booked the cheapest room and didn't expect much

The breakfast was actually fantastic. The location was b close the main nubs one towards the city centre. A taxi or uber is 15-20 euros but the walk is just 20 minutes city centre

The hotel is walking distance to main road that has restaurants and churches. Breakfast was very good and the service was great.

The room was spotless, and the beds were really comfortable with soft linen. The hotel environment was also very pleasant. The breakfast spread in the morning offered a decent variety, including Chinese options

Hotel location is very good. Near to bus stop for the airport, railway station, 1km to the city center Room size wide. Cleanest very good. Breakfast excellent! Definitely I will book again!

We went for a 4-day golf clinic with Andrea Zanardelli which was a great, top experience. The golf courses were wonderful, views from everywhere were stunning and the staff really helpful and all very friendly

45 holes of outstanding links golf, a variety of restaurants with the finest dining experiences on the island, a massive spa complex with an extensive of unique treatments, therapeutic pools, the best equipped fitness room/gym, etc, etc

The pool is probably one of the largest in the EU. The beach extends hundreds of yards with hundreds of loungers, umbrellas, full bar and food service. The breakfast buffet is one of the best you'll find

Many 5 star resorts can be really packed with guests, making it hard to find a lounge at the pool or beach, get a table at a restaurant, massage, etc
