The breakfast and view was very nice, appreciated the Gym, but it closed too early for evening use. The site is quite large and feels a bit like a maze to navigate to the breakfast area. The hotel was renovated from an old post office, and it still has the characteristics of that era. But unfortunately the hotel did not put in any effort in this regard, such as arranging some guided tours.

Lovely hotel with large natural setting which is very peaceful. The staff are wonderful and the service is top notch. The breakfast bar is really good. You need a vehicle as it's a ten minute drive to Syracuse. Overall a very nice experience.

I stayed here for a week in November .Impeccable service from reception till cleaning stuff.Everyone spoke good English.Delicious Sicilian food served at the restaurant.Huge portions!Spacious nicely decorated room with garden and Jacuzzi outside.Had a great three sessions of deep tissue combined with hot stones massage with Rosa .

Aged in our 40s, we brought the average age of hotel guest down considerably! The setting of the hotel is beautiful and the climb up the steps to the viewpoint is stunning. It would be lovely if there was a bench to sit and enjoy it, the steps had been weeded and a proper path cut. Breakfast was good, despite the chairs being covered in crumbs from previous guests. Nice location in the vineyard in the top of the hill. Great view to Lipari Islands. But terrible road to property and bad sound isolation between rooms. Our neighbor family with two child's laugh talking until midnight and then we heard baby crying until 2h. Excellent breakfast with real red orange "spremuta".

Lovely and impressive setting. Room ( suite) very large and comfortable although a musty odor was offset by the use of overpowering plug in room scent. Breakfast was plentiful and good although the service was only fair. Dinner in the restaurant was poor with both the service and food a problem. Beautiful setting, quiet and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had the Chef’s special menu for 50 Euro as it was so good. We had to leave early in the morning due to a train strike but they provided breakfast before we left which was nice of them. Beautiful converted monastery into a hotel in the hillsides with wonderful views. The facilities were wonderful with everything that you could hope for, staff at reception always very helpful and our room was lovely and spacious. Can definitely recommend a stay at this fabulous place.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area hidden in the hills between Cefalu and Castelbourno. Hiring a car is a must. The rooms are quintessentially Italian, the storage in our room was limited, with just one wardrobe between 2 adults staying for 10 nights was quite tricky but we managed, otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. We spent a wonderful four nights at Palazzo Vecchio in mid September. The location, just off Corso Umberto, was great. Up a few flights of stairs, it was set back and up from the road so was quiet, yet in the hub of restaurants/shops etc. Our room was large, comfortable, well taken care of throughout our stay, and had a nice view of the sea. Beautiful hotel close to the main area. The star to this property is the hotel staff from the concierge, to front desk and to the fabulous breakfast staff in the am. We had arrived late and the dining options were closing and kept the restaurant open for us and offered us a traditional Sicilian meal! First of many fabulous meals here. This hotel is just so classically beautiful. The location is amazing - tucked away from the main hustle and bustle but just a few steps away from the main drag. The rooms were well stocked and beautiful, full of light. Very spacious and comfortable (the linens were divine).
