Hotel La Palvp in Pinzolo

I had a wonderful stay at this charming family-run hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and courteous, making me feel right at home. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly set this place apart. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, ensuring a restful stay. Close to Pinzolo ski lift.

I stayed at Hotel Garni La Palu as part of a solo ski trip booked through Crystal Ski. The hotel was clean, basic but incredibly friendly - it did every thing I needed on my ski trip. My room was small - which was fine as I was out skiing most of the time. The hotel itself was quite noisy. A lot of internal noise, thin walls, and bells from the local church - but I always carry ear plugs when I travel so none of this was an issue. My room was not on the main road so I didn't get any road noise. The ski room was fine with lockers and boot dryers. The hotel itself is about 5 minutes walk to the gondola. Breakfast was a cold selection, but good quality ham and cheese and rolls, and the freshly squeezed red orange juice was amazing. The hotel doesn't offer a half board option but you can effectively make your own option as you can eat from the set menu options every night except Tuesdays - served out of the restaurant within the same building. Look up the "Al Rocol" restaurant Pinzolo menu (North Italian style) and you will find many of those dishes appear on the hotel set menu. The food was so good, and good value, that I ate there every night except the Tuesday night that the restaurant was closed. The main highlight of this hotel is that it is family run, and Matteo and his family are so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they really made my stay. On the morning I left, my coach was picking me up too early to have breakfast - unprompted Matteo kindly provided me with a packed breakfast to take on the coach with me. In short - I would stay here again. Perfect if you are after a good value no frills stay.

Just back after a wonderful week in pinzolo. Hotel is a family run hotel and they couldn’t be more helpful. Room was clean and tidy and big enough for what I’d need. Hotel is a 2 minute walk to the gondola. Breakfast is continental style with cereals and yoghurts - the fresh orange juice was to die for!! They also have a restaurant which serves delicious evening meals which I had most nights at a reasonable price. I’d have no hesitation in going back again.

I have just returned from a week at the Garni La Palu in Pinzolo and can not fault the place. On arrival I was greeted by the owner who cheerfully showed me to my room, assisted with my bags and then allocated me a ski locker for the week in the boot room downstairs. This is a family run business and the staff work very hard a man, his wife, daughters and elderly father all work extremely hard in the hotel and were very friendly and helpful. At the reception area there is a nice laid back bar area which always has sports showing on the tv. Breakfast is an ample buffet of cheeses, breads, pastries, cakes and cereal (the freshly squeezed orange juice is out of this world). My room was small but it did the job and contained a single bed and ensuite. The room was serviced daily by the cleaners.

Family run, by absolutely great folks. Friendly and professional. Not a common mix of attributes. An absolute gem. Loved our stay. Fantastic. Cannot recommend them enough.

One of the best experiences for me as a traveler - The owner and his uncle went above and beyond to make sure the guests were happy!

So much so, I had a flat tire right before I went to ski, and the owner took my car to fix it while I enjoyed the mountain.

The rooms were great, the breakfast spread was amazing and it’s a 10 min walk to the pinzolo Gondoloa and ski rentals that connects to all of the Skirama ski area. There’s a grocery store close by too, making the location convenient.

The dinner recommendations from the host were on point, and I felt like my family was hosting me.

I found many hotels that looked similar but my guest experience was definitely one of a kind - Definitely the place I’d stay again everytime I come to ski at the Dolomites

Central location with privat parking in Pinzolo city center, breakfast with delicious local products, very attentive staff who can help you with every request. Rooms simply decorated, but very functional. Bicycles available upon request

Garni La Palu is certainly one of the best places to stay in Pinzolo. The quality and prices are great, also the breakfast is great. Very warm welcome and great stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Excellent location - everything is near, they are straight in the middle of the town. Ski gondolas ca 300m, shops and restaurants everywhere next to the hotel, pharmacy over the street. The hotel also has a nice ski room. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Great value hotel. Uncle and nephew are very welcoming and took wonderful care of us. We stayed for a skiing week and they helped provide us cheaper ski passes and gave us a discount to a ski rental shop. Breakfast has a variety of choice - and freshly squeezed orange juice! Definitely recommend this hotel :) Grazie di cuore!
