We have been going to Rosa Alpina for years but this is the first time since Aman took over. It is, without a doubt, one of our favourite hotels in the world. True high-end luxury service with the best staff and facilities one could ask for. If you want to do luxury skiing properly, this is the place to go. We had one of the best suites overlooking the church, with a fireplace in the middle, a lovely seating area and a large double shower. The beds are wonderful, and it is a great space to relax. The ski butler service, who will sort your boots, skis, and help you take your gear on and off before you have a glass of warm apple cocktail and homemade chocolates in the ski room, is all excellent. The staff around the hotel are constantly friendly and attentive. They knew us all by name and went above and beyond to help (even going to the pharmacy to collect medication for us). There is no petty signing of receipts everywhere you go like in lower-end hotels. If you order something, they trust that they will record the order correctly and that guests can afford it. This is such a key distinguishing factor from other hotels where every penny or cent spent requires you to sign a little receipt and add tips - as if they don't trust you. The Aman is a cut above. The spa is excellent, and the kid's pool is brilliant (and very quiet). The restaurant is sublime - the wagyu especially, and they catered really well for out 17-month old daughter. They very kindly also provided a microwave in the room for us to heat up her food pouches for snacks. Five-star all the way. We will be back again next year.

Aman Rosa Alpina is a truly beautiful resort, set in a stunning mountain village. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The Grill restaurant offers excellent meat selections, with high-quality cuts full of flavor. However, the highlight of our stay was without a doubt the experience at Enju. It is a unique and memorable dining concept, where you cook your own food at the table in a traditional hot pot, making the whole experience interactive and special. The staff were extremely polite, professional, and attentive. A special and heartfelt thank you to Aphrodite, who was exceptional. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, guiding us through the entire process at Enju and making us feel comfortable from start to finish. Her thoroughness and kind nature elevated our experience to another level. Overall, Aman Rosa Alpina offers not just luxury, but genuine hospitality and unforgettable experiences. Highly recommended!

Having frequented these valleys for many years, I couldn't help but visit what has long been considered the temple of hospitality and haute cuisine in Val Badia, in its sparkling new guise. With Aman, we are indeed at the pinnacle of global hospitality. Expectations for the hotel's gourmet restaurant were therefore high, and even more so considering that Norbert Niederkofler earned three Michelin stars in those same establishments. After two phone calls and an email, we secured the "coveted" reservation for 7:15 PM, the only available time due to the restaurant's rule, so we were told, of limiting the number of tables to one every 15 minutes. The reception is top-notch, starting with the valet parking attendant, the concierge who escorts you from the hotel entrance through the stunning lobby (which alone is worth the visit), and the restaurant, where at least a B2 level of English is recommended if your very kind waitress, like us, is new to Italian and speaks fluent English. We discover that rather than a Japanese dinner, we're in for a culinary adventure somewhere between a mystical-ascetic experience and a cooking school. "Shabu-shabu" were evidently the key words, repeated several times throughout the menu—the only ones in Japanese, amidst a flood of excellent English. We should soon have discovered their meaning: it's the sound made by the movement of the meat in the boiling broth. The table is set with a burner supporting a pot of broth in which—to our amazement—we are asked to prepare our dinner, clearly searching for the onomatopoeic shabu-shabu. Next comes the arrival of small bowls of beautifully presented mushrooms and vegetables, as well as meat (South Tyrolean wagyu, chicken, pork loin, and local pacetta). The other diners, lucky them—almost all Asian or American—easily overcome the challenge of not losing their food in the boiling broth. We, less fortunate and perhaps just more clumsy, lose much of it in the boiling pot, unsuccessfully attempting to retrieve it using the trawling technique, clumsily copied from a Korean couple sitting next to us. I discover that the chef is Italian and has been trained for some time by "two Japanese gentlemen" from the East. Finally, everything is clear! Our compatriot must have only completed the first module of Japanese cuisine, the one on shopping, and to be on the safe side, he leaves everything else to his esteemed guests. My three out of five rating (Mr. Vorodin won't hold it against me) is therefore for the restaurant, the (encyclopedic) wine list, and the sole chef, myself. As for the shabu-shabu, unfortunately, not a trace.

We visited for an aperitivo with friends and immediately felt welcomed into a warm, refined, and authentic atmosphere. The spaces are beautiful: spacious, bright, and elegant without ever being overbearing or pretentious. Everything is refined and in perfect harmony, from the materials to the lighting, from the furnishings to the lounge areas, which invite you to linger and enjoy the moment in a relaxed manner. The cocktail list is excellent, as is the wine selection. The service was wonderful: a young, knowledgeable, attentive staff, always ready to satisfy every request, with great professionalism and a smile. Everything lived up to my expectations, and perhaps even more. We will definitely be back.

The food was good, as expected at those prices, but the service left much to be desired: confusion among the staff, the wrong dish ordered, and the replacement arrived only after we'd already finished dinner. The icing on the cake? The bottle of wine that replaced the one I'd ordered "in the same price range" magically turned out to be double the price when it came to the bill. In short: if you're looking for good food, you're in luck; if you're looking for top-notch service... be prepared for a surprise.

The location leaves a bit to be desired. Unless you plan on eating all of your meals in house ( right now there’s only one restaurant on property) there are not really any options in the small town. On another note, the hot tub is poorly designed. Rather than a view of the amazing Dolomites, you view only the back of the hotel, which is completely unaesthetic. Another issue in the pool area is that there is not a lot of service around the pool . Restaurant was good. Rooms are nice but entry level rooms are small for the Aman brand. Interior public spaces are beautiful.

new fantastic Aman in Italy. We had a suite overlooking the mountains with a fireplace and a sauna . The food is excellent , but the service needs some improvement to be at the Aman standard

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary in their restaurant. Be careful, I used the conditional, now I'll explain why. On Thursday, September 4th, at 8:45 pm, we went to book a table for Sunday, September 7th for 8:15/8:30 pm and a woman confirmed it. On Sunday, the 7th, we showed up in front of the restaurant at the agreed time and, guess what?? Doors closed, the camera filmed us, I tried to knock on the waiters who passed by but no one deigned to look at us. So we decided to go elsewhere (luckily finding a table). At 9:10 pm (not before) we received a call from this restaurant saying: we apologize but the restaurant doesn't accept external guests. Which is fine with me. But why not mention it right away when booking? At least call in the morning so we would have had time to calmly look elsewhere!!! 5-star hotel and top restaurant, but you don't know what professionalism is! I manage a 4-star hotel, and thank goodness my staff aren't like you! If I ever return to San Cassiano, I know the hotel I'll avoid!

I've been to the Grill restaurant several times for both lunch and dinner during my vacation in San Cassiano. It was an excellent experience. The food was simple but excellent. The staff were very attentive and super friendly, and the manager was always available and professional. The setting is stunning and classy. On a very positive note, my dog was also very welcome in the dining room. The prices were in line with the quality. We'll definitely be back!

We had dinner at The Grill and the food was excellent. Shame for the service which is definitely not on a 5 star standard: the restaurant manager kept shouting at his staff infront of customers, our table was not cleaned, you could hear tons of noise from the kitchen, nobody asked if we wanted coffee or anything else with our dessert and ice cream was substituted with another flavor without checking whether this was okay with us. Shame that the non existent service ruins a great culinary experience.
