This 3-star hotel, with its late 1980s interior, is dated. The friendly management makes you forget the structural deficiencies. I am very grateful to all the staff, because one day I needed medical help, when the ambulance, the hospital, and the doctors themselves were not able to help, but the hotel staff tried to make me feel better and rushed to help me as quickly as possible, and also personally took me to a local doctor.❤️❤️❤️

Price a bit expensive for 4 people (120), being a room with 4 single beds crammed together and considering the almost desolate area. I don't even recommend it for breakfast, as it is very sparse. Sleep there only if you are passing through. The staff on the other hand are very nice after all.

Nice little houses but with 1 single small wardrobe for 4 people so I had the suitcases on the chairs. in the first week there was no power in the rooms every evening, it constantly went off at peak times while cooking. The castle is amazing and you get to see it every day while you are at the beach or at the pool. Staff is friendly but not oriented to non-Italian visitors. Animation is the weak side - I often found the games dull and not exciting (example - kicking a ball to someone’s butt). Food is good, you really get to know some of the Italian cuisine. Unfortunately it’s important to note that it’s nowhere near a 4* hotel. We stayed in a suite that had a whole host of issues. Incredible hotel with sea front location, wonderful roof top bar with views and great swimming pool. The staff were amazing, and when I arrived I was greeted at reception with such a warm welcome from a lovely receptionist/front of house lady called Alicia. It's a 3 tending to 3.5. Overall not bad. Comfortable rooms especially the bed. Location not bad. He loses a lot for breakfast. Bread that has been left for several days is best avoided. However acceptable. Fixtures are not good, you can hear noises from the street.

I wish i could give this place 15 out of 10! Extremely clean, spacious room and equiped better than my expectations. Great espresso coffee, thoughtful details everywhere and in room breakfast that was plentiful..it was a wonderful stay for me. I would definitely come again! Highly recommended!

The room was very nice with a great view over the coast. It was very clean and the many nice little details made it lovely. The host was very kind and brought us fresh cake every day. The location was also good, around 25 minutes into the city along the coast. All in all, it was a great stay and we totally recommend this B&B.

Beautiful place on the hill side. Bruno was very helpful with any questions and helping us to organize taxis. The place was nicely stocked with essentials. I plus there is a good coffee bar and pastries down stairs.

A beautiful modernised hotel in an old building with character and charm. The rooms are comfortable, although not large, but well fitted out and perfect for my needs. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Plenty of choice of restaurants serving great food at reasonable prices. The staff are excellent. Friendly, helpful, really nice people. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Lamezia. Near the action but tucked slightly off the Main Street so it was quiet. Great little kitchen to make our own breakfast. Self check in process was tricky, but we had assistance live on WhatsApp, so after a few challenges, got in. Would recommend San Carlo if you are going to Lamezia.

Nice B&B The place was very easy to find they sent you instructions , the room had a washer but no dryer but no where to hang your cloths like a balcony or patio , other then that the room and bathroom was fine , just if you have luggage you have to carry that all the way up
