Altavilla Boutique Hotel in Catanzaro

We had a very good stay. We reserved a room for persons with disabilities, it was rather tight although very clean and suitable to our needs. However, we strongly suggest adding a curtain/barrier to the shower, a water spill in the bathroom poses a slippery/accident risk for people in a wheelchair and their helpers. If you bring a car be aware that parking could be difficult, we were fortunate to find a spot reserved for hotel guests across the street. Breakfast was good and being close to local restaurants was a great benefit. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Grazie Andrea e Luca, vi siamo molto grati!

Vista molto suggestiva, stanze grandi luminose, letti comodi e ben insonorizzato. Posizione perfetta al centro storico e vicino al teatro politeama. Staff estremamente gentile che ci ha offerto ottime colazioni con molta scelta per ogni esigenza alimentare e di qualità (marmellate fatte in casa, grissini e taralli ottimi, frutta, uova etc cucinati benissimo, croissant ottimi ecc. ) . Pulizia perfetta. Prezzo ottimo. We were very lucky to find this charming, elegant hotel, tastefully furnished and decorated. It offers a truly beautiful view, spacious and bright rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent soundproofing. The location is perfect, right in the historic centre and close to the Politeama Theatre. The staff were exceptionally kind and served excellent breakfasts with a wide selection to suit every dietary need, all of top quality (including homemade jams, delicious grissini and taralli, fresh fruit, perfectly cooked eggs, excellent croissants and more). Impeccably clean throughout..Good prices.

The best hotel in town. Excellent services and great room. It is a new hotel, an automatic window shade, and a touch screen elevator. All staffs are super nice.

Location about 15 minutes from the sea. "Sin", if we wanted to define it that way, absolutely negligible given the past experience. The staff, starting with the owner, was a kindness and helpfulness never seen before. Luca has always welcomed us with a smile, ready to recommend beaches and restaurants, not to mention the welcome, the night porter, the house keeping staff. In short, kindness, cleanliness and friendliness were the common thread that accompanied our holiday. The room was spacious, spotless and fragrant throughout the duration of the stay, with sheets changed twice in a week and a daily towel change… which is not for everyone. Breakfast included by booking directly on their website, with fresh products prepared daily directly at the hotel, which allow you to wake up SWEET, and more, every morning.

I stayed in the hotel for half a day, as the booking made by my agency was confirmed at the last minute and I had already planned the weekend by the sea.
The hotel is well presented, excellent location, structure and rooms. I could see that the wardrobe is open, a sore point (personal opinion).
The 4 stars are for a request made and not fulfilled: having to leave the same evening of my arrival and having booked for two days (not used) I asked if I could have an example of their famous breakfast to taste the next day. The first receptionist told me they would prepare it for me, the second dismissed me hastily by saying they didn't make baskets. Honestly, from a hotel to which more than € 200 has been paid and which will not have "consumption" or the like on my part (since I left two hours after my arrival, with a two-day booking) I would not have expected them.
