Pros: very cosy place, several solutions (bungalow, hotel, camping), nice swimming pool. Contro: if you rent a flat for 6 people they provide only ONE beach umbrella but the worse thing is loud music all the time. You cannot read even a book or have conversation.

We had a wonderful holiday at this resort and highly recommend it, especially to families with children.

The resort is well-organized and well-maintained, with plenty of spaces dedicated to children where they can have fun safely. The sea is simply beautiful: clear, clean, and easily accessible water, ideal for children too.

A special thanks goes to all the staff, always available, kind, and ready to help with a smile, making us feel truly welcomed.

The entertainment was engaging but never intrusive: the entertainers are friendly, well-trained, and manage to create a cheerful atmosphere for both children and adults, with many activities during the day and entertaining evening shows.

It was a relaxing yet fun-filled holiday. We will definitely be back!

An experience to forget: disgusting and dilapidated bathrooms, toilets, and showers, left uncleaned for days and even used by the staff. Even the pool was very dirty, full of mosquitoes and ants, and maintenance was practically nonexistent.
Some of the staff don't speak Italian, making communication difficult.
Wi-Fi is either absent or has a poor signal, even in common areas.
Prices are exorbitantly high compared to other nearby campsites (which are much better).
No recycling, despite the website claiming to be "plastic-friendly," which is grotesque given the amount of plastic waste strewn around the campsite that isn't collected.
Entertainment is almost nonexistent (only for children), with the same music playing on repeat.
The advertised amenities are often unusable or only accessible with complications and advance bookings. The washing machine is locked, making doing laundry inconvenient and frustrating.
The beach is made of sharp rocks and pebbles, even on the seabed, and the sea is often rough.
The only positive note was the fresh, mineral water, free if you have a metal bottle: at least that was clean.

Friendliness and commitment are evident, but sometimes they're not enough. Our animal friends are great, and I find the cost of their stay excellent. Many other hotels or resorts charge double or even triple the price without offering any real service.
The facility deserves it and can offer more; I wouldn't rate it 4 stars.
The sea is crystal-clear, but you need water shoes and the ability to swim because it's deep right from the start, and there are rocks on the shore.
The management, reception, and cleaning staff, as well as the bar, are all helpful and friendly. A 4-star rating isn't enough; it has to offer more.
The Fakiro events entertainment program is a sore point. Their skills in the entertainment field are nonexistent, and they're not at all proactive. I often had to manage the children myself and let them play with each other on the beach. Never a smile, never an initiative, always the same music, no desire to work, not even if they were doing forced labor.
The management apologized, but in my opinion, they should have sent them away and not offered any entertainment; it would have spared the guests and made a better impression. Entertainment is a serious matter; you can't improvise, and Costa Blu is suffering greatly because of these individuals.
The only positive aspect of the entertainment team is a young and inexperienced but enthusiastic and sociable girl named Asia, who, with the help of the guests, created a few convivial and fun moments.
The children are generally happy, but parents who pay expect more from a 4-star hotel. Best wishes to the management, who was super kind enough to let us improve next year so they can demonstrate that Costa Blu, in its own small way, can give more and deserve its 4 stars.
And a shout out to the bar and dining room staff.

Located right on the beach, the Costa Blu hotel is an ideal base for exploring Calabria, as well as a great place to relax by the sea. The hotel staff will help you in any situation. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious, and the rooms are fully equipped.

English: We were there from 24/08 to 07/09. Village practically on the sea (beautiful, clean, the Ionian never disappoints), the cottage on arrival (it was about 12) was already ready despite the early entry time, very clean, tidy and complete with everything you need. The village is very clean as is the pool which is treated and cleaned practically at all times, there is great care and every hitch is resolved in record time. A special mention goes to Asia from the entertainment team, a very friendly all-rounder who I hope we will find again next year and to Deborah who takes care of the pool bar. At the reception two young ladies, Deborah and Swami, very kind and always available, the owner Mrs Elisabetta and her husband two exquisite people, friendly and they also helped me solve a problem with the car. The seafront about 200 meters away is nice with some bars, ice cream shops and restaurants. All in all a quiet, relaxing village that keeps you busy if you want to have some fun. We will definitely be back next year. Highly recommended.

We have been for the fourth year at the Costa Blu hotel rooms always fresh and clean we took 6 and no one complained the umbrellas in the front row and they remained for the whole period without ever moving. the food good and abundant since there were many of us if someone was late was always satisfied the children have a great time in this village yes the entertainment and to see again Mrs. Elisabetta next year surely will provide excellent quality price next year.

Residence Formula! We book a room and they give us another one... they reciprocate by refunding the difference in price and a front row seat on the beach. Obviously we didn't start off on the right foot. The room that shouldn't have been the one "with the mezzanine" was slightly larger than the photos, but it's obviously uncomfortable with a 5 year old child, I'd say dangerous. Rooms are fairly clean, air conditioning, large bathroom with a large shower corner. Shame about the fridge, for a residence formula with children it would need to be bigger. The village looks quite good. There's a restaurant, baby room with kitchenette available and games room. Bar with the possibility of filling water bottles for free since it's Plastic-free. The entertainment needs to be improved. Made up of 5 young people with no previous experience who did nothing except make suggestions. Sometimes we even had to take the initiative ourselves. They justified themselves by saying they didn't have equipment in good condition (speakers and microphone) and equipment for the evenings. Cash is not used but a card that can be recharged. Only at the reception If you run out of money on the card and the reception is closed you make do. It would be appropriate to put some charging points when the reception is closed. On the beach there is a waltz of umbrellas.. First day they assign us an umbrella we arrive at the beach umbrella occupied, the lifeguard moves the stuff and places it.. after a while the gentlemen who were there before arrive and are assigned another umbrella. Change of umbrella even for the ex-umbrella owners... And so on.. the waltz begins... you see people who go from one umbrella to another..! This every day. An assignment of umbrellas out of the ordinary every day someone had to change. The village would not be bad if it were well managed. And in this village the owners are always right even when they know they are wrong.

The classic example of a nightmare vacation. You wait all year for the holidays to arrive, you book well in advance and when you arrive, the one for which they also asked for advance payment, is not there! The biggest misfortune was the timing, being the week of August 15th we were unable to find accommodation that was truly 4 stars with availability. The website mentioned camping, the truth is that there is a PARKING LOT for 4 campers two meters from the theater of the tourist village. The rules of silence are unknown both day and night and therefore it is a truly unlivable place with small children. The (indecent) bathroom made available is that of the staff who takes care of maintenance and who rightly often looks at you askance when you use it. It is better not to talk about the food, the cleanliness even less. There is no supermarket and therefore you have to go out to eat. There is no laundry, you have to go to the La Fenice village. The only positive thing is the proximity to the sea, but for the rest there is only crying. It might be okay if you were looking for a 2 star, I really don't know how it gets 4. It's a real mystery! The owner, finally, is a really unpleasant person. Unfortunately Calabria is what it is precisely because of these people who have gold in their hands, but are capable of turning it into manure.
