Excellent location, great service, dinners, and staff. A shuttle bus was available on call. Very pleasant spa with a pool.

My wife and I have just returned from a week's skiing in the Dolomites. The hotel was a perfect base for us. The hotel is lovely and all the staff were great. The food was generally very good, and we enjoyed having a drink at either the outside seating area or in the bar after dinner. The shuttle service to the various chairlifts/ gondolas was great, as was being able to call the driver to collect us when we finished skiing. The town of Santa Cristina is very quiet, with the exception being the Snowbar at the bottom of the Saslong ski runs, which was good fun but closed at 10pm. We had a great time and would definitely consider returning to the hotel in the future.

We ended up in this hotel because our first hand choice hotel had a cancellation policy unacceptable to us. Boy are we happy how destiny played out! Wow. What can we add to all the admiration already written by others? Management clearly has a black belt in high end hospitality. Such a unique combination of homely comfort, thoughtful personal attention and professionalism in every detail. It takes hard work and dedication to constantly exceed the expectations of your guests. Not as noticeable but equally impressive is the super smooth running of the business catering for all your needs almost before you even knew you had them. We were there for a week of hiking the mountains, and had not done much research on the routes before arriving, hence a bit lost. We were given a welcome package with maps, free bus tickets and discount tickets for the whole valleys lift system. And the hotels own hiking guide Luca was on site every moring and evening to help us make all the right choices. Perfection. Now to the food: Every evening is a lovely gastronomic adventure with a choice of creative and skillfully cooked dishes with great variety. We thoroughly enjoyed it. All is cooked with fresh produce of great quality, an the chef clearly har great skills. Flavor was a bit uneven, and we found ourselves now and then reaching for the salt, but over all very high level. Don't miss the home made pasta dishes! We had an Alpina room overlooking the spectacular Sasso Longo mountain, with a lovely sunny balcony. However, the hotel is right on the main street, so there is local traffic going on just below. We were not at all bothered, but if you need absolute tranquility you might consider a room facing the back garden and pool. The central location is absolutely ideal for getting around and reaching the staring points for different hikes. We will most definitely be back!

The best ski hotel we ever stayed at. Felt very taken care of in every detail, amazing food, pool/spa, service-all top notch. Having a ski guide was amazing bonus-so relaxing not having to worry about confusing ski map and where to go. Great job Vitalhotel Dosses, can’t wait to be back!

Great hotel. Very friendly staff with excellent service. Rooms are modern and spacious with good views from the front.
Food is excellent with a great selection at dinner.
Great outdoor pool with nice jets and set to 32C.
The saunas and steam room are a bit dark and dungeon like, but are being refurbed mid 2025.
Large bar area with a separate room with a full size pool table.
The hotel is right next to bus stops to other resorts, and right next to ski shops, and opposite a supermarket.
There is a ski guide that does different tours each day for differing abilities.
There is a free shuttle that will drop you off and collect you from the nearby lifts. The nearest lift saslong is a 5 minute walk away.

Arrived on 21st December and stayed for Christmas and New Year leaving on 4th Jan. What a fabulous 2 weeks we had, the staff were all amazing, Tommaso, Eduardo, Daniele, Josef, Lara , Dana, Mirko, IIenia & Martina, if I missed anyone out then I do apologise as you were all excellent and made our family Christmas and New Year holiday very special. Food was excellent and a very good accompanying wine list and drinks list. The Christmas and New Year Gala dinners were outstanding. Hotel location was great and the daily hotel ski bus that dropped you off at various lifts was excellent, I’d also like to thank Theo who ran everyone around with a smile on his face every day. Hotel itself was excellent with great facilities, excellent spa, outside heated pool and gym. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to return. Thank you.

This is the first hotel review i have ever written. Had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish at this lovely hotel. Gorgeous pool, wonderful location, very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, delicious food, overall everything just lovely. Really appreciated how the hotel was both elegant and welcoming of children - the staff were so friendly with my son, and i really appreciated that. Would definitely visit again! Have stayed in many excellent places around the world, and this was truly one of the best!

Fantastic hotel overall, great location, and fabulous service. Rooms are spacious, outdoor pool is a really welcome treat at the end of the day, shuttle to the ski lifts in the morning is a great service too. Food throughout the stay really was excellent, with lots of choice and really fantastic service from all the restaurant and bar staff. Only negative was the sleep quality - our room was on the front of the hotel and the road noise was significant from early in the morning. That combined with uncomfortable pillows made for some poor nights’ sleep.
