Hotel Venezia in Mestre

We stayed at Hotel Venezia for a few nights and overall had a pleasant experience.
The location is excellent – very central and convenient for exploring the city on foot.
The hotel has a beautiful Venetian 17th/18th-century theme with lots of Murano glass, classic furniture, and elegant details. At first it feels like an old historic building, but everything has actually been recently renovated, so it’s fresh and well maintained. Our room and especially the bathroom were modern, spotless, and comfortable.
The only real downside was the breakfast. It’s the same very limited buffet every day: three types of bread rolls, cold cuts, cheese, butter, a few pieces of fruit, juice, coffee/tea, boiled eggs, basic cereals, yogurt, and honey. Everything is pre-packaged or pre-portioned, and there’s no hot food. It’s perfectly fine for one morning, but if you’re staying longer than 1–2 nights you’ll probably get bored and end up going out for breakfast.
Staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was smooth.
In summary: lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location with charming historic decor and clean, updated rooms. Just don’t expect an exciting or varied breakfast if you’re staying more than a night or two.
