A dramatic place to stay! The location is spectacular. The gardens are beautiful. The hotel is nice. The staff are friendly and helpful; we extend special kudos to Salvatore, the shuttle driver, who was exceedingly friendly and accommodating. We did find the room to be really small (but its terrace was twice the size of the room!). One note of caution: avoid the restaurant in the hotel.

The entire hotel needs a little love (especially outside). Boxes and things in the lobby area. Let me say, however, that the staff was nice, the rooms are clean and best shower (except no door makes it cold). We would definitely be back!

We arrived in the pouring rain. The owner, Vincenzo was so sweet. He gathered dessert for us when we arrived and walked us arm in arm to the flat so we didn’t slip on the wet pavement. He was very accommodating.

This B&B provided us the best service and we felt like at home. The breakfast was very good which was much better than the breakfast in the 4 start hotel we stayed in Sorrento. It was very easy to take bus from Capri or Marina Grande to Anacapri, and it was only 2 minutes walk from bus stop to the B&B. We highly recommend this place if you visit Capri.

Very cold floor. It’s clean, there’s breakfast (I would like something warm besides boiled eggs). The bed is on the second floor, there is no marking that the ceiling is starting to round, we hit our heads several times (add markings). Our room had a very nice balcony, we could see the island of Ischia and on the other side Monte Solaro mountain. Very quiet, spacious room, with a comfortable bed. We spent 5 wonderful days on the island. The hotel deserves a fourth star! It is clean and homeful. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's the center of Anacapri, and it's quiet. The property is close Anacapri and bus to Faros and Capri. The breakfast was good! However, the property is lacking some maintenance. The shower heads are not weak and/or only 50% functioning, and the hair dryers cannot operate at full capacity. With a little refresh on the property, the hotel would have been perfect.

It's rare to receive a welcome like the one we received at Bougainville. A warm, family atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. The hotel is very beautiful and well-kept and has a fantastic location, making it easy for us to get around. Our room was comfortable and we slept well.
