A beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Sitting on the front terrace enjoying a beverage while watching the people parade by was special. Strolling through town, enjoying the sights made us feel at home. The room was large and perfectly appointed with a view of the Mediterranean. The pool was spacious and welcoming.

This is quite a royal hotel and so accommodation is a royal experience. It is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed but it is expensive, although well worth it. The most important and positive aspect of this hotel and the whole experience is the staff. Very friendly, professional, courteous, polite and genuine. Just for these good people, I’d definitely go back again.

Stayed at Punta Tragara for 3 nights. It’s a beautiful property and we loved the location, which creates some distance from the hustle and bustle of Capri center. I loved the view, the swimming, the food and the staff. The front desk arranged an amazing boat charter for us for the day and the experience was incredible. The hotel is private, clean and elegant. We did have an issue with bees when we dined outside but it didn’t take away from the incredible pasta dish only found in Capri.

Facilities: There is no signal for mobile phones in the hotel room, the Wi-Fi signal is extremely unstable, and complaints have been made many times to no avail. The hotel facilities are great! The only fly in the ointment that made me a little angry was that when we left the hotel and went to the pier to return to Sorrento, the front desk staff gave us the wrong port number. Stayed here in September 2025 Loved it, definitely a go to every year!! Retro style, felt a bit 'old' but super accommodating and felt like a family run hotel, comfortable, non pretentious. We had a deluxe ocean view and it was stunning. The room are a little older but clean and very very comfortable and super cute. The balcony is amazing and has unbelievable views. There is no better location in the Mediterranean I love Marina Piccola so i am subjective Nice, clean rooms. Well worth the upgrade to a sea view. I traveled alone with my daughter and there was an issue with the single/double occupancy, however the staff was very understanding and they made sure we had the double room. The hotel is really well designed and run like a true luxury resort. Every one was very friendly and helpful. Clean, well-run, a terrific place to stay,,, very close to downtown shops and restaurants, but it didn't have the noise and congestion of the downtown area. A bit pricey for what it is but overall, the hotel was good. If you have bigger luggages, it is worth paying the €20 per luggage per way. It’s pricey, but worth having to carry them up the hill.

I’ve been to Capri many times. Luckily, I discovered the Hotel Syrene— the best location, a block away from all the shops, restaurants, gelato cafes & transportation. The staff was terrific, and each one was nicer than the next. Plus, my room was beautiful and elegant. The bathroom and amenities are excellent. Loved every moment. I can’t wait to return next summer.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since it was our first time in Capri, but this hotel is very cute and the outdoor dining outside is under a bunch of lemon trees so peaceful. Everything was good. Shower needed an upgrade. Room was very hot and smelled of perfume (not in a good way). The toilet was hard to flush and only flushed after several tries. The staff was excellent so the rooms do not reflect on them.

This hotel stay was truly fantastic. From the communication of the staff (arrival coordination at the ferry) to the restaurant staff, everything made us feel like we were the only guests at the entire place. Our only regret is only staying for a single night. Be advised however, a porter for bags from the ferry to hotel is a MUST, and at 20 euros per bag can quickly add up. Pack light!

This was your typical small hotel room w basic amenities. It had everything that we needed as we stayed in capri for a day trip. It’s a small hike up from the main port and then another small hike up to the first town center. For the price it’s a great spot and great location. The bus system is fairly easy and can be utilized to get all around the island.

This hotel truly deserves some love. You can tell it once had its glory days, but it could use some renovations to bring back its charm. The facilities are fine, though the presence of ants in the room and a weak air conditioner made the stay less pleasant than it could have been.
