Monte Solaro Bed & Breakfast in Anacapri

We stayed at this B&B and had an amazing experience. The communication was excellent from the start: clear, quick, and helpful. Constanzo answered all our questions and gave us great suggestions for our time in Anacapri. The location is ideal — quiet, relaxing, and close to everything we needed. The view from our room was absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our stay. The two brothers were always helpful, and their mother was very kind and attentive, which made us feel well looked after. Breakfast was very nice, with fresh fruit, fresh croissants, and good coffee to start the day. We recommend this place 100%. If you come to Anacapri, this B&B is definitely a place to consider. Great location, rooms, and views. Felt very homey and comfortable. Staff was very helpful with advice and letting us keep our bags at the property after checkout. Highly recommend!

The hotel owner and their family were incredibly warm and hospitable. From the port, you can take the blue bus to the hilltop bus terminal square, then simply contact the owner for a pickup. The environment here is beautiful, the place is spotlessly clean, and the views are stunning. There's a lovely swimming pool on the upper floor. Breakfast was delicious. The owner even helped us carry our luggage up and down the hill. It's only a few minutes downhill to the pedestrian street and the bus station, though walking back up can be a bit tiring.

The guesthouse is perched on the hillside, overlooking the ocean, and offers lovely sunset views. It also features a small swimming pool.

However, the host's 'complimentary' transfer service wasn't what I expected. It didn't include pickup from the port; instead, they met us in Anacapri and drove us to the guesthouse higher up the hill. I've definitely learned my lesson this trip: for island getaways, it's far more convenient to book accommodation right by the beach. Staying on the hillside, once you're settled, you really don't feel like making the trek back down. It felt like too much of a hassle.

Our plan to visit the Blue Grotto on our second day was unfortunately thwarted by cloudy weather early that morning. Then, just an hour before check-out, a sudden, torrential downpour began. The host informed us the Blue Grotto was closed and essentially pushed us to leave immediately. They insisted on driving us to the bus station amidst the torrential rain, and we then had to catch a bus through the storm to rush to the port.

The host showed a distinct lack of consideration. A typical Chinese host, for instance, would have absolutely offered to let guests stay until the rain subsided, especially since descending the mountain in such a storm is quite dangerous.

Therefore, I cannot give a positive review for the service this time.

VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS, this b&b was a little high up but definitely manageable and so worth it for the incredible sunset with the most amazing view of Capri! The owner Costanzo picked us up from the bus station at the bottom of the hill to help us with our bags and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay. He recommended two amazing restaurants and was so attentive to any of our needs and available via WhatsApp for any questions we had while we were on the island, the accommodation was spotless and a lovely family run atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and would love to return!

Great room, higher up, and at a very central location in Capri.

Beautiful location for an amazing experience in Capri for our anniversary! The hosts are all amazing and attentive! Escaping the chaos of Capri and Ana Capri to the B&B was such a joy. The sunsets are incredible and peaceful! There are a few steps to get up there, but it's worth it!

Best place to stay in Anacapri, this small family run B&B is so much more than that, the friendly atmosphere and stunning views as well as the great facilities are amazing, great family, a must if you are staying in the sun kissed Isle of Capri 👍🏻 the sunsets are best on the island.

A paradise for the eyes and soul! The view when you open your room door is absolutely priceless... Ischia, Procida, the Gulf, and Vesuvius... The fragrant surrounding vegetation truly stirs the emotions! It's also just a stone's throw from Anacapri's town center. Costanzo was incredibly accommodating and attentive to all our needs! The room was spotless, and the fantastic bathroom was vibrantly colored and typically styled with the region's characteristic hues! Thank you so much, Costanzo!

A truly wonderful stay! The hotel service was impeccable, and the location was superb, offering beautiful views of the sea and sunset. The owner's hospitality was exceptional; despite the hotel being on a hillside, he personally drove down to pick me up. He even offered a fascinating commentary on Capri Island and a complimentary espresso upon arrival. Absolutely recommend booking this place!
