Mediterraneo Bed & Breakfast in Anacapri

I had the pleasure of taking a cooking class at Relais Caposcuro, where Martina and Chef Gaetano walked us through making a Caprese Salad, Ravioli, and Tiramisu. Martina gave us a thorough tour of the property, showing us the various citrus trees, herbs and produce that they grow and use in their food. She was warm and open to all our questions about cooking and life in Anacapri. Chef Gaetano is skilled without being intimidating, and kept it fun by adding humor to every aspect.
My mother is unable to eat dairy or gluten, so she just came to the class to learn and wasn't planning to eat. But Martina and Gaetano surprised her by making an alternative to each aspect of the meal that she could eat. We were really taken aback by how above and beyond this was. We'll always remember their kindness.
Next time we return to Capri we will absolutely be back!

I had the pleasure, two summers ago, of being welcomed to 2 Pini with utmost hospitality. Due to a personal connection with the owner through a friend, I was there to capture the essence of the property, location, and amenities, and of course, the “vibe” in general. Guido and his team, I discovered, are truly concerned with every detail of the guest experience. The rooms and adjoining bathrooms are each customized with handmade tiles, textiles, and other works by local artists. There is perfect air conditioning for those who prefer it, and strong WiFi. Guests enjoy a tranquil environment to recharge and enjoy themselves before going out for a beautiful day at the beach or an evening out. The chair lift above is delightful and unique and the outdoor hot tub is essential on a balmy evening at sunset. The grounds are well kept by a gardener known to the family replete with lemons, beautify flowers, and succulents. Enjoy a drink or breakfast at the outdoor bar, even, and if you want to escape the crowds, you won’t miss out by spending the day on site enjoying all it has to offer.

This was a great family run hotel! The location is about 20 minutes from the Capri Port by car. Our room (Mimosa) had a beautiful view from the balcony and was fully equipped. The staff was kind enough to give us a complementary bottle of champagne, as it was our anniversary. We had a private hot tub with the room, which unfortunately didn’t work, but the staff tried to mediate the situation as fast as possible. Great response. There is a small cafe attached the the hotel which offers great breakfast options and excellent drinks, the court yard of the location is stunning. The location is very close, about a 2 minute walk, to the chair lift which brings you to the top of the mountain. Beautiful location!

We stayed in Relais 2 Pini for our honeymoon & we are so glad we chose this property. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and enjoyable time. Our room was so clean and spacious and the bed was so comfortable and the outdoor Jacuzzi was a great addition! The location is perfect and close to the bus stops that take you to the main part of Capri, although we actually quite preferred staying local in Anacapri in the evening time as we found it quieter and the restaurants are a lot cheaper and there is plenty to do during the day time. We also did the cooking class which was good & the breakfast each morning was delicious.

The hotel is situated in a gorgeous lemon grove. The rooms are air conditioned, stylishly furnished and impeccably clean. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the centre of Anacapri and the bus/taxi terminal, but still enough out of the way of the crowds of tourists to feel calm and romantic. We stayed for four nights and we loved the hotel. The sunset views were unforgettable. Huge shout out to the incredibly kind staff, ready to help us out with anything we needed to get the most out of our vacation!
