Mamma Sisi in Lecce

It is sad to say that we booked Mammasisi in June 2025, 3 double rooms for 3 couples traveling together in October 2025 for 6 nights. We called couple days before our arrival to confirm our time of arrival. We were informed that THEY HAD CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION for the entire 3 rooms week before arrival because credit card needed confirmation of charge. They did not attempt to call us or email any of us to let us know they needed this information before cancellation. They had already rebooked our rooms. 😖 This is not acceptable, they were quite unpleasant and inconsiderate. They are not reliable

After having problems with the card that I remember sniffing the reservation I had to use another one. Once I arrived at the facility from Milan I learned, without having been notified beforehand and having previously accepted, that the facility I booked was not the one near Piazza Sant'Oronzo (in the historic center) but in another area of ​​the city (I am from Lecce and I know the differences!) The one attributed to me is decidedly not suitable for the one I booked and decidedly more miserable and dilapidated. No concession to my complaints. Shameful and disgusting attitude. Never seen anything similar in over 30 years of traveling. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! A disgrace for Lecce and its tourism. P.S.: the property tries to contradict me: I am a lawyer and I defend myself in the appropriate venues.

Most unorganized establishment ever
By far one of the most unorganized hotel i have ever tried. Reception hardly ever there and when someone comes, can't help much. Furniture old and uncomfortable, sheets and towels hardly every changed. One day the person who clean the room, left the room with our door wide open fir anyone to get in and left his or her key in our door. So safety is zero.

I booked this place on ******* and paid in advance. The day we got there, it was faster to go up by stairs as the elevator only carried luggage, but it was tiring and super hot (summer 2022). Once there, the lady said that they didn't have our reservation, then after a long time, they 'Found it' but needed to give us another room. I had reserved one of their best rooms as we were in 4 travelling around Italy by car and we needed a bit of comfort to rest. They put us in a small room that didn't have beds for my grown kids, then they put up air mattresses for them to sleep. That was not what I had paid for, and we felt like camping. The room was so small that it was impossible to open the luggage to get clothes, we had to put them on the bed. The bathroom leaked water, and it didn't go down the drain. The breakfast is served on a tray in the room (they don't have a breakfast room) As the tray was on top of the only table available, we had to eat with our plates standing or on the bed. My bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on, and we did not rest at all. The only reason we didn't move it was that it was the high summer season, and there was no place available in town. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
