Location is bit far from city centre and if you are travelling in peak season even with the free shuttle, delays might irritate you. Breakfast buffet has less options especially for vegetarians

The staff was very nice and the views spectacular. The rooms could use a little update and you could hear everything next door. Overall was a good experience.

Very scenic on top of the hill. They provide transportation to the city center. If you’re looking for a more quiet and higher view of Amalfi I suggest this property.

A Thoroughly Delightful Stay! Hotel La Bussola was lovely! All the staff - from reception to restaurant to room cleaners and laundry services - were friendly, accommodating, and very helpful

It exudes old-world charm – a centrally located cloister (including an outdoor bar) and all rooms overlook the Tyrrhenian Sea and Amalfi

It also has a very unique swimming pool (located along the sea – you can actually access the Mediterranean)

We also had a dinner and a lunch, and although I rarely am impressed with hotel restaurants, a sudden rainstorm fortunately led us to their main dining room, which was superb and surprisingly reasonably priced, given the quality of the meal, ambiance and service

The pumpkin soup was amazing and their ‘Marinati’ (marinated anchovies & salmon – had again for lunch) was so good! MOST OF ALL, the staff quickly became more like our family…they could not have been more accommodating and engaging

In comparison to the other luxury choices in the area, Hotel Luna was priced much more reasonably – including an incredible daily free breakfast

While some prior reviews may suggest the rooms are ‘dated’, we found them to have all the ‘modern’ conveniences and amenities we desired

The accommodations were very appealing and the hotel was not overcrowded or noisy. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay to visit Amalfi but yet have separation from the busy and loud city streets

We stayed at this lovely historic hotel. It has charming Meditteranean decor and a perfect waterfront view. The rooms were pretty, had comfortable beds and perfect temperature - we slept nicely

We had an unobstructed view of the water from our room, balcony and the dining areas of the hotel. The views were spectacular and peaceful as we watched swimmers and boaters enjoy the water

They also arranged excellent transportation to and from Naples train station. We added a stop in Pompeii on the way back and the driver Mario arranged a great tour guide Enzo

The room cleaning service always made sure our bed was clean crisp and cool to jump into after a long hot day! Dinner the first night and breakfast every morning always excellent! Definitely would return to this friendly place!

There was a large variety of items for breakfast! From all types of fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon, amazing selection of pastries and dessert items, granolas, yogurts, fruit juices, and the cappuccinos were a special treat in the morning!

Great Stay in the Heart of Amalfi The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Amalfi, yet our room was quiet and very comfortable. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful

We particularly enjoyed our breakfast every morning. What could be more peaceful than sitting on the roof under the canopy watching the gulls glide about with church bells in the background

Breakfast is included on the rooftop with a nice view, they have a little bit of everything. The staff at the front counter are very friendly. It is in the perfect location

The room was very clean and the location was good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old town. The price is very reasonable for a place like Italy. The boss is very enthusiastic about Chinese people.

Parking is made easy be the staff unloading your car and parking it, there is a $40 parking fee. This area, like all of Amalfi, is crazy busy so having restaurants to walk to was great

Breakfast is available at the hotel from 7:00am-10:00am for a $20 fee. The suite was beautiful with an amazing view of the water

Very nice hotel with really friendly and helpful stuff. Bus to all places of Amalfi Coast stops right in front of the hotel and you can buy tickets at the reception. Also the breakfast is really nice!

We were 10 people and had 4 rooms. Mario at the front desk made our bus travel extremely easy for us. Vincenzo was a waiter who was wonderful and the owner was a great chef! The food was fantastic

I think their restaurant is the best in all of Amalfi. I had their spaghetti alle vongole, and it was phenomenal. Always get their catch of the day grilled fish. We had it both nights we stayed there

The lemon groves gave the whole place a special charm. Even though the Amalfi Coast felt crowded and pricey, this hotel was a peaceful sanctuary with friendly staff, homely meals, and a calm, genuine atmosphere

There was noise from the sea front at night but it wasn't a problem as we kept the windows closed and used the air-conditioning

The best part about Hotel Fontana is the location. It's literally in the heart of the Amalfi. The size of the room is big, the bathrooms are amazing. Our stay was very comfortable

The location is excellent, very close to the train station, a few minutes' walk, convenient transportation, many bus lines, the room is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is rich

They offer American style breakfast with a variety of simple and bakery items

We also had an issue with our ferry to Ischia being cancelled due to weather and the owner was able to accommodate us for another night as we had to wait til the next day to leave

The rainfall shower head had a leak(adhesive) or something on the corner was allowing water to drip out the side. Great staff and service from the manager. He understood English and spoke it well

The views from the hotel were awesome…and there were a lot of stairs to get that view but there was an elevator! The owner gave us great recommendations for places to eat…we even went to one place twice

The location is good, you can see the sea. You need to walk up 77 steps from the pier. Fortunately, we had a handsome portman arranged by the hotel to help us carry our luggage, which saved us a lot of effort

The location and view of the sea are the most important and the most important parts of the praise. The hotel arranged for someone to pick up my car, which cost about 45 euros a day

The breakfast was a bit far-fetched, but it was average, and there was nothing to complain about. It was just like eating out by myself, so it was acceptable

It advertised parking, but they were full. That was the minus for me. But the rest was good. It wouldn't hurt to have a little coffee on the room.

Amazing view Service is perfect, nice breakfast. You will need to walk 1km to Amalfi center, but it worth. Bus 5070 stops very close the hotel, but you need to have tickets first

It’s about 20 minutes to Amalfi nice walk. The smallest room doesn’t fit a regular size adult im petite and struggled. But never again, if I would stay there again I’ll get the bigger room

Very nice hotel! We booked a room with an over look and a jacuzzi tub. The water didn’t stay warm enough to fill the tub, but the room was overall very nice

Amazing stay! Excellent view, super friendly and helpful staff. We were worried that it was too close to the pier but it was perfect. Close to the square and ideal for catching a bus or ferry

If you’re active, check out “All Trails” for some amazing hikes in the area. Path of Gods and a waterfall one where you walk through hundreds of lemon trees. Totally recommend this accommodation- enjoy your trip!

Amazing location 2 min walk to the main square from the hotel. The only thing is even if you choose to pay at the hotel, they will still charge you beforehand

I was going to pay by cash at the hotel but they charged me by the card on Trip

After contacting the front desk, we received a WhatsApp with a video of going up a slanted road in a tunnel (you can easily walk up it but we did not know at the moment that it was a norm to do and safe!)

The hotel is beautiful! The breakfast is very complete and the best part is that it's right on the Amalfi Plateau, no stairs to climb!

We arrived in the morning, well before normal check-in time, but since we had requested airport transfer ahead of time from the hotel and our room was unoccupied, Andrea excitedly let us know that he had arranged for our room to be ready early, which was perfect since we were able to nap after our long red-eye flight

Magnificent! Very nice, very clear, the stuff is great. A little bit outside of the main streets, just near the beach, with 10 minutes walk from the ferry. And the terrase view at the breakfast is very picturesque

Very beautiful territory, especially the place where breakfast is held. Breakfasts are decent, you can find mozzarella and prosciutto, as well as fresh fruits (pineapple, melon, watermelon), and many snacks

Amazing place to stay with a wonderful sea view! This place is so quiet and simple. Located on top of the hill on the main road that takes town to Amalfi town (takes 15 min by bus)
