From the street at sea level to the hotel there are 210 steps - they are illuminated at night so good visibility and you feel safe. The restaurant in the hotel is top notch - we had one of our best meals there

Exceptional property, luxurious rooms and professional, gracious service. My daughter got sick on a holiday weekend and the staff managed to find a physician to come to the room to treat her

The Anantara was incredible!! Beautiful room, incredible views from every location at the property, wonderful food, fantastic bar service and selection, and the most caring and friendly staff I've encountered! Parking was available and easy to use (Valet)

Location is superb, with a private walkway ( Path of the Monks) to the city center and you’ll find breathtaking views all around - from the carved in infinity pool, taking a stroll through the gardens or having a quick workout at their panoramic outdoor gym

From the most beautiful room “Suite del Priore” (100% recommend) to the exceptional staff and amazing gourmet food ( which was freshly picked from the Chef’s garden & locally sourced), nothing was less than magical

Location is bit far from city centre and if you are travelling in peak season even with the free shuttle, delays might irritate you. Breakfast buffet has less options especially for vegetarians

The staff was very nice and the views spectacular. The rooms could use a little update and you could hear everything next door. Overall was a good experience.

The hotel had an amazing view. The pool closed earlier than what was advertised which was disappointing. The breakfast was amazing , the bar staff was exceptional. The shuttle was easy to book and needed to get to town

Very scenic on top of the hill. They provide transportation to the city center. If you’re looking for a more quiet and higher view of Amalfi I suggest this property.

We were on the renovated floor which was beautiful! The staff was excellent as was the food. We loved the private beach and beach service.

There was a large variety of items for breakfast! From all types of fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon, amazing selection of pastries and dessert items, granolas, yogurts, fruit juices, and the cappuccinos were a special treat in the morning!

Very friendly staff, free loan of beach towels, very nice breakfast options included, one day free items of bar fridge, daily water bottles, lovely roof top terrace, cute garden area, walkable to all amalfi sights, close to ferries

Great Stay in the Heart of Amalfi The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Amalfi, yet our room was quiet and very comfortable. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful

We particularly enjoyed our breakfast every morning. What could be more peaceful than sitting on the roof under the canopy watching the gulls glide about with church bells in the background

Breakfast is included on the rooftop with a nice view, they have a little bit of everything. The staff at the front counter are very friendly. It is in the perfect location

For those who cannot stand the heat, the region can be hot or too hot in mid summer, but early autumn is a delight because the sea (private pool area / sea front) is still warm for swimming - though there is a small rain risk

We got married in Ravello and had our reception here, as well as staying here. Absolutely incredible place. Such a wonderful, magical experience. I wish we could do it all again

It’s so close to the port if you are taking the ferry in and still close to all the shops and restaurants

Nice Location, had a very good view to sea from balcony, the hotel has wonderful old collections, very nice stay

Room was big and had a small balcony area overlooking the busy bus terminal and the sea beyond.

You go in the narrow way about 1,5 meters with the church stairs on your back then go up the stone stairs on the left side that lead to the hotel. Once you are upstairs you see the hotel at the end of the plattform

The front desk attendant-Santo- was very helpful and nice when we’d ask him for directions or help. It’s also great that he’s always on site. The room was clean and the cleaning staff lovely and attentive

It’s hidden away on one of the alley which makes it a great location If you are trying to get away from the Main Street hustle. We had a balcony view which was very nice view of the plaza and harbor

It exudes old-world charm – a centrally located cloister (including an outdoor bar) and all rooms overlook the Tyrrhenian Sea and Amalfi

It also has a very unique swimming pool (located along the sea – you can actually access the Mediterranean)

We also had a dinner and a lunch, and although I rarely am impressed with hotel restaurants, a sudden rainstorm fortunately led us to their main dining room, which was superb and surprisingly reasonably priced, given the quality of the meal, ambiance and service

The pumpkin soup was amazing and their ‘Marinati’ (marinated anchovies & salmon – had again for lunch) was so good! MOST OF ALL, the staff quickly became more like our family…they could not have been more accommodating and engaging

In comparison to the other luxury choices in the area, Hotel Luna was priced much more reasonably – including an incredible daily free breakfast

While some prior reviews may suggest the rooms are ‘dated’, we found them to have all the ‘modern’ conveniences and amenities we desired

Other pluses: - the complimentary breakfast was good and coffee is made to order. - the location is perfect, right in the heart of Amalfi, provides a great base to see the city and the coast in general

- The rooftop terrace was incredible, we were almost always the only couple there. The views, the sunlight, and the sun chairs were very nice. - The hotel and the rooms are so clean and comfortable feeling

The owner Gerry even helped us with a wine cork and a pair of glasses for us to enjoy a bottle that we brought back to the hotel on our first night

Exceeded expectations in every aspect. The property is managed by the owner and his family. Our room was wonderful and clean, the location is awesome, around 100 yards from the main square. No steps! Good breakfast!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff were so welcoming, accomodating and answered all questions we had with a smile

They were very easy to contact through ******* messages and helped to arrange a free luggage porter service from the ferry terminal that we arrived at (very nice inclusion, as the hotel is not far from the main road/ferry/bus area, but extremely busy during the day and could be difficult to navigate with luggage)

The accommodations were very appealing and the hotel was not overcrowded or noisy. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay to visit Amalfi but yet have separation from the busy and loud city streets

We stayed at this lovely historic hotel. It has charming Meditteranean decor and a perfect waterfront view. The rooms were pretty, had comfortable beds and perfect temperature - we slept nicely

We had an unobstructed view of the water from our room, balcony and the dining areas of the hotel. The views were spectacular and peaceful as we watched swimmers and boaters enjoy the water

They also arranged excellent transportation to and from Naples train station. We added a stop in Pompeii on the way back and the driver Mario arranged a great tour guide Enzo

The hotel staff were excellent in all areas of service. We would definitely book this hotel again

The room cleaning service always made sure our bed was clean crisp and cool to jump into after a long hot day! Dinner the first night and breakfast every morning always excellent! Definitely would return to this friendly place!

The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to find, and requires some stairs, but they sent detailed instructions, and it's super convenient to get to from the ferry, and is absolutely in the center of the action in Amalfi

There is a restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient! Because the hotel forfeited my deposit I used a can of Coke in the minibar, and I consciously paid for it the night before

Amalfi coast tour Oct 2025 We had a pleasant stay at Terrazza Duomo in Amalfi. The location is excellent in the center of the town and also close to the ferry and bus terminal

And yet, the restaurant upstairs is peaceful and quiet, and serves wonderful food, with an absolutely stunning view of the duomo and all the tourists below

What a lovely hotel in the heart of Amalfi. We had a balcony view of the Duomo from our BATHROOM. The staff were all extremely welcoming

This hotel is really impeccable. Opposite the cathedral, the facilities are clean. The hotel has installed sound-proof glass

We also had an issue with our ferry to Ischia being cancelled due to weather and the owner was able to accommodate us for another night as we had to wait til the next day to leave

The rainfall shower head had a leak(adhesive) or something on the corner was allowing water to drip out the side. Great staff and service from the manager. He understood English and spoke it well

room was very clean, breakfast was great and we liked being able to walk to the main attractions in Amalfi but come back to our quiet hotel each evening

The views from the hotel were awesome…and there were a lot of stairs to get that view but there was an elevator! The owner gave us great recommendations for places to eat…we even went to one place twice

Amazing view Service is perfect, nice breakfast. You will need to walk 1km to Amalfi center, but it worth. Bus 5070 stops very close the hotel, but you need to have tickets first

It’s about 20 minutes to Amalfi nice walk. The smallest room doesn’t fit a regular size adult im petite and struggled. But never again, if I would stay there again I’ll get the bigger room

Very nice hotel! We booked a room with an over look and a jacuzzi tub. The water didn’t stay warm enough to fill the tub, but the room was overall very nice

The views were beautiful, the staff so nice and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay! Excellent view, super friendly and helpful staff. We were worried that it was too close to the pier but it was perfect. Close to the square and ideal for catching a bus or ferry

If you’re active, check out “All Trails” for some amazing hikes in the area. Path of Gods and a waterfall one where you walk through hundreds of lemon trees. Totally recommend this accommodation- enjoy your trip!

Amazing location 2 min walk to the main square from the hotel. The only thing is even if you choose to pay at the hotel, they will still charge you beforehand

I was going to pay by cash at the hotel but they charged me by the card on Trip

After contacting the front desk, we received a WhatsApp with a video of going up a slanted road in a tunnel (you can easily walk up it but we did not know at the moment that it was a norm to do and safe!)

The hotel is beautiful! The breakfast is very complete and the best part is that it's right on the Amalfi Plateau, no stairs to climb!

We arrived in the morning, well before normal check-in time, but since we had requested airport transfer ahead of time from the hotel and our room was unoccupied, Andrea excitedly let us know that he had arranged for our room to be ready early, which was perfect since we were able to nap after our long red-eye flight

Magnificent! Very nice, very clear, the stuff is great. A little bit outside of the main streets, just near the beach, with 10 minutes walk from the ferry. And the terrase view at the breakfast is very picturesque

Very beautiful territory, especially the place where breakfast is held. Breakfasts are decent, you can find mozzarella and prosciutto, as well as fresh fruits (pineapple, melon, watermelon), and many snacks

The room is very clean, the floor is beautiful, and the sea view is superb! Breakfast is delicious too! The counter staff are also very friendly! I will definitely choose to live here again next time

The Manager is not on site and the person who is there is the cleaner, is only there for a limited time during the day, speaks very little English so she is not really able to assist with any requests or problems

The property description also said breakfast was available but when we asked the next morning the cleaner said “no!”,, repeatedly pointed out the door and said “Bar there”, indicating a building down the road

Although the property description said there was an elevator, when I asked I was told “no”, after insisting, the cleaner. put our suitcases into a tiny elevator (no people) and sent them upstairs

We had to get our taxi driver to help translate and she told us we were not their guests and we were st the wrong hotel. (we were at the correct place)

This is one of those you get what you paid for. Mid June, 2 triple rooms in Amalfi for a total of $1,500. The best thing was the shower/ bathroom.

The hotel only allows check-in for very limited time frame and if you don’t arrive during that time, then you cannot check in, and they don’t care

This is our favorite hotel! We stayed here in 2012 and the manager gave us $200 to use until we could get to a bank the next day. My husband’s wallet had been stolen on the bus from Rome

Beautiful sea views from the hotel ,but need to walk up n down many steps ,lucky the good staff Carlos n Anzo help us to carry the luggages.location is best,not so crowded n near to almafi port

It’s also a short walk to Amalfi so it’s the perfect place to stay if you are looking for something quiet and relaxing. And the view of the ocean was incredible!

The room was very clean and the location was good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old town. The price is very reasonable for a place like Italy. The boss is very enthusiastic about Chinese people.

Parking is made easy be the staff unloading your car and parking it, there is a $40 parking fee. This area, like all of Amalfi, is crazy busy so having restaurants to walk to was great

Breakfast is available at the hotel from 7:00am-10:00am for a $20 fee. The suite was beautiful with an amazing view of the water

Great cappuccino! We were given a room upstairs with a full jacuzzi bathtub and a small seating area. There is a rooftop area you can relax in the evenings. We will go back and stay at this hotel

Cute hotel just off main tourist area, and quiet and quaint. Breakfast was disappointing in that all the food items were cold, but it was convenient to get this done in the morning before starting the day

Rooms were old style and the one we got was not the best in layout (a breakfast table in a loft to the room, and immediate stairs down on entering room) but the frescos on ceiling in reception and breakfast room plus all the furnishings were very nice

The included breakfast was very good and the setting in a beautiful room below a stunning fresco was special! Most of all the staff and management were very friendly and helpful and take great pride in their lovely hotel

This was such a cozy and lovely place to stay! It was a 5 minute walk from the Amalfi harbour, which was perfect for me as I am expecting a baby. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming

Our room was spacious and well maintained, with a comfortable bed. Extremely helpful to have access to parking a short walk away and it was easy to navigate with a convenient porter service
