Location is bit far from city centre and if you are travelling in peak season even with the free shuttle, delays might irritate you. Breakfast buffet has less options especially for vegetarians

The staff was very nice and the views spectacular. The rooms could use a little update and you could hear everything next door. Overall was a good experience.

Very scenic on top of the hill. They provide transportation to the city center. If you’re looking for a more quiet and higher view of Amalfi I suggest this property.

From the street at sea level to the hotel there are 210 steps - they are illuminated at night so good visibility and you feel safe. The restaurant in the hotel is top notch - we had one of our best meals there

Location is superb, with a private walkway ( Path of the Monks) to the city center and you’ll find breathtaking views all around - from the carved in infinity pool, taking a stroll through the gardens or having a quick workout at their panoramic outdoor gym

From the most beautiful room “Suite del Priore” (100% recommend) to the exceptional staff and amazing gourmet food ( which was freshly picked from the Chef’s garden & locally sourced), nothing was less than magical

I had always imagined swimming with the dramatic, carved-out Amalfi mountain rock rising behind me, framed by the glittering sea and sky—and the experience was even more breathtaking in person

The entire team — from concierge and reception to the bar, room service, and restaurant — were outstanding. Always smiling and eager to help, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome

It exudes old-world charm – a centrally located cloister (including an outdoor bar) and all rooms overlook the Tyrrhenian Sea and Amalfi

It also has a very unique swimming pool (located along the sea – you can actually access the Mediterranean)

We also had a dinner and a lunch, and although I rarely am impressed with hotel restaurants, a sudden rainstorm fortunately led us to their main dining room, which was superb and surprisingly reasonably priced, given the quality of the meal, ambiance and service

The pumpkin soup was amazing and their ‘Marinati’ (marinated anchovies & salmon – had again for lunch) was so good! MOST OF ALL, the staff quickly became more like our family…they could not have been more accommodating and engaging

In comparison to the other luxury choices in the area, Hotel Luna was priced much more reasonably – including an incredible daily free breakfast

While some prior reviews may suggest the rooms are ‘dated’, we found them to have all the ‘modern’ conveniences and amenities we desired

The accommodations were very appealing and the hotel was not overcrowded or noisy. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay to visit Amalfi but yet have separation from the busy and loud city streets

We stayed at this lovely historic hotel. It has charming Meditteranean decor and a perfect waterfront view. The rooms were pretty, had comfortable beds and perfect temperature - we slept nicely

We had an unobstructed view of the water from our room, balcony and the dining areas of the hotel. The views were spectacular and peaceful as we watched swimmers and boaters enjoy the water

They also arranged excellent transportation to and from Naples train station. We added a stop in Pompeii on the way back and the driver Mario arranged a great tour guide Enzo

The room cleaning service always made sure our bed was clean crisp and cool to jump into after a long hot day! Dinner the first night and breakfast every morning always excellent! Definitely would return to this friendly place!

This is our favorite hotel! We stayed here in 2012 and the manager gave us $200 to use until we could get to a bank the next day. My husband’s wallet had been stolen on the bus from Rome

It’s also a short walk to Amalfi so it’s the perfect place to stay if you are looking for something quiet and relaxing. And the view of the ocean was incredible!

Cute hotel just off main tourist area, and quiet and quaint. Breakfast was disappointing in that all the food items were cold, but it was convenient to get this done in the morning before starting the day

Rooms were old style and the one we got was not the best in layout (a breakfast table in a loft to the room, and immediate stairs down on entering room) but the frescos on ceiling in reception and breakfast room plus all the furnishings were very nice

This was such a cozy and lovely place to stay! It was a 5 minute walk from the Amalfi harbour, which was perfect for me as I am expecting a baby. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming

Room was big and had a small balcony area overlooking the busy bus terminal and the sea beyond.

You go in the narrow way about 1,5 meters with the church stairs on your back then go up the stone stairs on the left side that lead to the hotel. Once you are upstairs you see the hotel at the end of the plattform

The front desk attendant-Santo- was very helpful and nice when we’d ask him for directions or help. It’s also great that he’s always on site. The room was clean and the cleaning staff lovely and attentive

It’s hidden away on one of the alley which makes it a great location If you are trying to get away from the Main Street hustle. We had a balcony view which was very nice view of the plaza and harbor

The room was very clean and the location was good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old town. The price is very reasonable for a place like Italy. The boss is very enthusiastic about Chinese people.

Parking is made easy be the staff unloading your car and parking it, there is a $40 parking fee. This area, like all of Amalfi, is crazy busy so having restaurants to walk to was great

Breakfast is available at the hotel from 7:00am-10:00am for a $20 fee. The suite was beautiful with an amazing view of the water

Very nice hotel with really friendly and helpful stuff. Bus to all places of Amalfi Coast stops right in front of the hotel and you can buy tickets at the reception. Also the breakfast is really nice!

We were 10 people and had 4 rooms. Mario at the front desk made our bus travel extremely easy for us. Vincenzo was a waiter who was wonderful and the owner was a great chef! The food was fantastic

I think their restaurant is the best in all of Amalfi. I had their spaghetti alle vongole, and it was phenomenal. Always get their catch of the day grilled fish. We had it both nights we stayed there

The lemon groves gave the whole place a special charm. Even though the Amalfi Coast felt crowded and pricey, this hotel was a peaceful sanctuary with friendly staff, homely meals, and a calm, genuine atmosphere

The location is good, you can see the sea. You need to walk up 77 steps from the pier. Fortunately, we had a handsome portman arranged by the hotel to help us carry our luggage, which saved us a lot of effort

The location and view of the sea are the most important and the most important parts of the praise. The hotel arranged for someone to pick up my car, which cost about 45 euros a day

There was a large variety of items for breakfast! From all types of fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon, amazing selection of pastries and dessert items, granolas, yogurts, fruit juices, and the cappuccinos were a special treat in the morning!

Great Stay in the Heart of Amalfi The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Amalfi, yet our room was quiet and very comfortable. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful

We arrived in the morning, well before normal check-in time, but since we had requested airport transfer ahead of time from the hotel and our room was unoccupied, Andrea excitedly let us know that he had arranged for our room to be ready early, which was perfect since we were able to nap after our long red-eye flight

Magnificent! Very nice, very clear, the stuff is great. A little bit outside of the main streets, just near the beach, with 10 minutes walk from the ferry. And the terrase view at the breakfast is very picturesque

Very beautiful territory, especially the place where breakfast is held. Breakfasts are decent, you can find mozzarella and prosciutto, as well as fresh fruits (pineapple, melon, watermelon), and many snacks

Pino parked my car for me when we arrived & was always available to drive us into Amalfi and to a nearby spa or pick us up from the port! It was half the price a regular taxi would have charged 😳 (because they’re vampires on the Amalfi coast 🤣)

We met Pino and Filomena and Manuela , Valentina. They went way above my expectation. We went with 20 family members and we were treated with royalty

Anything we needed we would ask they would get it done for you arrange a ride or go to the beach, restaurant , tours to different places like capri. Sorry it took me so lone to write a review

The staff is really amazing, we fell super comfortable and they help us with ferry reservation and recommendations of your and restaurant. Our room “Amalfi” has a perfect view of the sea and a super big terrace

The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to find, and requires some stairs, but they sent detailed instructions, and it's super convenient to get to from the ferry, and is absolutely in the center of the action in Amalfi

There is a restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient! Because the hotel forfeited my deposit I used a can of Coke in the minibar, and I consciously paid for it the night before

Amalfi coast tour Oct 2025 We had a pleasant stay at Terrazza Duomo in Amalfi. The location is excellent in the center of the town and also close to the ferry and bus terminal

And yet, the restaurant upstairs is peaceful and quiet, and serves wonderful food, with an absolutely stunning view of the duomo and all the tourists below
