It was good. It was quiet because it was a little off to the side and not too central. It was clean and I slept well.

The location is just opposite the pier. It takes less than ten minutes to walk into the city. The room is very clean, the floor is beautiful, and the sea view is superb! Breakfast is delicious too! The counter staff are also very friendly! I will definitely choose to live here again next time.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and honestly could have just made Amalfi our home for weeks. Aurora is nice and out of the way, we had a basic room which didn't have a view, which was fine for us as we were out of the hotel most of the time. There are upgrades available at reasonable prices. Breakfast is on the balcony with lovely views. Staff are all friendly, rooms are super clean and we will definitely be back! Thanks for having us - Hugh and Jo x

The location of the hotel was great. We could see the Amalfi Coast and the sun rising over the horizon was beautiful and made us feel very comfortable.

We stayed in one of the sea view rooms with a balcony and it absolutely did not disappoint! The view was gorgeous and the room was exactly as advertised. Breakfast was clean, efficient, and delicious. Every member of the staff was super welcoming and accommodating. Special shout outs to Andrea (Hotel manager) and Andrew (kitchen and bar staff) for the above and beyond effort to make some English speaking guests feel extra comfortable. From engaging bar conversations to arranging for an adventurous hike (which was incredible with Matteo for both the trek of the iron Forrest and the path of the gods tour), they took care of everything.
If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, but still want to be close enough to a lot of cool experiences then I wouldn’t trust any other location above Hotel Aurora in Amalfi.

Spacious, clean hotel. Try to get a room with Ocean view and balcony. Note it is cash only for extras like beach chairs, parking etc....

Very spacious hotel with great views. We had a room with balcony and sea view that was amazing. The hotel is located at the end of the street by the marina and is very quiet. The hotel staff was amazing and catered to all of are needs. The night receptionist Walter was amazing!! Anything you need, ask Walter! He obviously loves his job and enjoys people. Amalfi is the place to be if you are looking for a few relaxing days on the beach.

Lovely personal hotel. Staff very helpful. Breakfast served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the harbour just chilled and a beautiful way to start the day. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the town and sea....amazing! The terrace was probably bigger than the room! So quiet! Hotel arranged a taxi transfer to Naples airport at a very reasonable price, very prompt and efficient too! We had to leave early for the airport and the hotel owner was more than happy to suggest he get us some breakfast ready for before we leave...very much appreciated! Would certainly go back! Thank you for being so welcoming x
