Relais San Giacomo Guest house

The location is brilliant, right on the Corso and you can't get any closer to the beach, and the room was clean and tidy. The daily cleaning service was great and very friendly. But what you need to know: The "Bed & Breakfast" (we didn't have breakfast though) is on the third floor of a residential building. However, check in and check out is at the Hotel San Francesco (7 minutes on foot)! A friendly member of staff will take you to your room and pick you up again if you wish. Downstairs in the entrance area it is a bit dirty, there are cigarette butts lying around and there is a strong smell of oil. The elevator's best years are behind it. Also be aware that the room is quite noisy at night as it is right on the Corso where there is always something going on. From eight o'clock in the morning a shop across the street plays the same song on repeat. The air conditioning only cooled relatively and was a bit noisy. It was also a bit sad that the WiFi no longer worked properly from day two. Despite multiple mentions, it was never repaired. A few glasses in the room would have been nice. And one more thing, when booking, I thought the room had a balcony, but it was just a narrow French balcony, with no seating, not really suitable for chilling. I would book at the Hotel San Francesco next time. That made a good impression and the employees were very friendly.

Let's start with the fact that one star is too much.
First of all, when we entered the room, the floor was very dirty, the television didn't work, there was also a hole in the wall from which ants came out and we found them in the bed and we were forced to sleep in another hotel for the poor quality, the very dirty shower compartment with the hand shower all rusty and therefore it was not possible to take a shower, we even found hair in the bed.
Personally I do not recommend this b&b also because the cost was 60€ a night and with similar prices you can find much better, in fact, not very close we were forced to take another hotel.
