We loved our stay at the Villaggio Verde. We stayed in one of the cabins and couldn't be more happier with our stay. Pool area was a nice and relaxating environmental and well maintained with a little pool bar on entrance. The only downside about our stay was the amount of mosquitos, but that cannot be helped. Just come back from a 5 night stay and we absolutely loved our stay. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself is good. We loved the fact that it is a smaller site, so it gives such a family feel to the place. Will defiantly book back in when we next come to Sorrento! I had the pleasure of staying here for 7 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking. The staff Feliciana and Emanuele were very helpful and polite. Parking is made easy be the staff unloading your car and parking it, there is a $40 parking fee. This area, like all of Amalfi, is crazy busy so having restaurants to walk to was great. Stayed here with my fiancee while on vacation. Such a great place! A tad bare bones, but in a good way. Front desk staff, ESPECIALLY Alphonso were the best. They also have lots of kittens and cats running around which we loved.

Everywhere in the room was dirty, dusty, and although it had a nice view, the breakfast wasn’t good at all. We were supposed to have someone help us bring the suitcases up, but there was no one available, so we had to find someone ourselves and ended up having to tip them. But it was in a good part of the city.

It advertised parking, but they were full. That was the minus for me. But the rest was good. It wouldn't hurt to have a little coffee on the room.

This is an older hotel that looks and feels run down. It is best used for those who need to be near the train station. The receptionist over charged me for city tax for a  5 star hotel.  This is at best 3 stars and at the lower end of those. I expected more after having read the reviews. It was disappointing.

We’ve stayed at Ibis hotels before but this was definitely the best and better equipped than other hotels we’ve stayed at this trip.
