Location is excellent, near the main square, restaurants, cafes, shops etc. I’s located on a small street away from busy traffic and crowds so quiet. The entrance is not very inviting, followed by steep stairs and small elevator. Other people live in the building. Painting and a fresh look is needed to make guests feel more positive. It now is dark, dusty and moldy, sometimes with occasionally a sewage odor. Rooms are very basic and dormitory style, with a mix of furniture in various styles and condition. Scratches all over. These need to be freshened up which can easily be done. Good amount of towels available in various sizes and sheets were ok. Good for short stays, budget travel, etc. No sparkle anywhere.

Highly recommended, ideally located, good communication, rooms are comfortable & cleaned daily. Straight walk from the train station, & just minutes walk away from Piaza Magoire. Safety & security in place, & the breakfast is varied & tasty, & adequate to. Opens at 8, for those with early flights. With accommodation priced sky-high, this does make a very pleasant & friendly alternative.

My first breakfast was rearranged because the owner needed the place for her cooking class. The arrangement went badly with no apology followed. Later the owner waved my tax payment, but I would prefer an apology rather than money.
This B&B needs to learn about customer service. Customers are not figures on a chessboard to move them around for owners convinience. The whole incidence left me with a bad feeling.
The WiFi was also poor, needed 3 resets in 4 days.

Deplorable and purely commercial customer relations. Lack of consideration for customers during flooding periods and the Italian civil security officer, particularly in Bologna, being placed on red alert.

The hotel uses its customers as a cash machine allowing it to make easy money. During a period of major flooding that caused deaths in Emilia Romagna and the red alert by the Italian civil security in the city of Bologna in particular, the hotel refused to refund and even postpone it even though we were ready to honor it to another period in 2023. They went so far as to tell us and write to us that nothing had happened like this in the city, which was ready to welcome us as if nothing had happened, to justify what is pure and simple theft on their part. Disgusting!

I cannot stress enough about how wonderful our stay here was! And such amazing value for what you pay. AMAZING location, the room was fantastic (appreciated having a bath & a large bathroom after not having one for some time!), the breakfast nook was beautiful & the hosts were so lovely & accommodating. It ticked so many boxes for us & felt like home everytime we came back. The breakfast was delightful with freshly baked croissants & good coffee, with a really nice selection of pastries.

We also did a cooking class by Cristina, which was the highlight of my stay at this b&b. It was such an intimate setting & also some of the best tortelloni and definitely the best tagliatelle ragu we had in Bologna (and we had a lot!).

EDIT. Had to add this in too but they were so kind to cover our taxi fare to the station after a little miscommunication around what time we needed the booking. I can say these guys have gone above & beyond my expectations. We’ll be back if we’re in Bologna for sure!

Very pleasant stay at Crisitna Rossi B&B. We were visiting Bologna for a week, had a Deluxe room for 2 persons, with AC and private bathroom. Clean and cosy, with a vintage vibe. The breakfasts were tasty, and Monica is an expert while preparing true italian coffe (the cappucino was the best I had in Italy).
The localization is excellent, you have everything close (main square, via Indepenzzia, market (PAM), lots of restaurants) within 5-10 min walk. Certainly recommend this place

Made a reservetion on booking for nice room. Got another room which was 80 euros cheaper with no compensation. Room had no bin, Balcony was a joke - it´s not a Balcony but coridor for light and you can have a look on other peoples bathrooms. TV was Big as my phone and so high that you couldnt see nothing. There were no place to sit.
Worst thing was that you hear every other guests because walls are so thick. If you are taller than 180 cm you wont fit under shower. You can learn how gas boiler work because you will hear it a lot from Balcony.
Place look like a hotel on booking but it´s a low airbnb.
Really not worth that money!

Like a mini-palace! Excellent hot water pressure, decent if slightly older bed, large rooms, good family-style breakfast with hard boiled eggs, fruit torte, meats, cheese. Friendly service.
