Loved this place, felt at home. Finding your way inside the first time is a little daunting but once you get the hang of it it's perfect. Instructions are clear, everything works perfectly. Location is unparalleled. Rooms are cozy. Really good quality sheets, towels, and pillows. Would definitely book again.

Excellent room, excellent location at the same time. We have spent 3 nights in B&B II Salotto di Firenze and everything was very comfortable and clean. Also we really like the kitchen, it was usefull and clean. They were very hepfull. Thank you for the hospitality.

We had a great time. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is friendly and familial, making us feel right at home. The welcome was warm, and the location is fantastic. Definitely good value for your money!

Comfortable, unreal location, good value. Bring earplugs: even with windows closed, sound travels clearly from the hallway and from the street outside; pedicabs and the beepers that taxis use in pedestrian zones were audible through the early hours of the morning. A buzzer activates when the guest room doors are unlocked with the key card, which is quite noisy. No front desk staff, so somewhat impersonal. Check-in video was helpful. The "matrimoniale francese" room was a pleasant size for a couple with backpacks.

For its money the room was really nice. Its a very good option for a short stay and exploring the city. It’s a great location, you can walk everywhere. Very spacious rooms, and high ceilings. It was clean inside, in September AC worked well. Mattress was quite hard but nevertheless I managed to have a very good sleep on it.

Please mind, that since it’s located very centrally, it gets loud from the street, you can also hear other guests when they walk in the hallway. Sleeping with earplugs can solve all of it.

Notice for the owners: please keep detailed entrance instructions not only as video but also as a text with pictures, since the internet connection in the city is not that great.

The stay was super good, but when we arrived, the door to enter the property was locked. We spent over an hour trying to open it, calling numbers, and no one answered. It was frustrating and we wasted time. If it had been an emergency, no one would answer. We were able to force our way in many times with other tourists. They also didn't change our towels or clean the room, which I think is a minimum for a stay. Otherwise, the room was excellent and the location spectacular.

Location was absolutely ideal and the rooms were spacious. Beds and pillows pretty comfortable too. There is an old lift, but if you can make the few flights of stairs you're better off for it. Our room was being repaired so we were given a different suite. The accommodation was very nice. We did have some issues with the AC not working and the hot water not working. We were in contact with the manager about both. The AC issue was never acknowledged as being a problem so we pretty much slept in 28°. By our last day the hot water had been fixed, which was nice, but it would have been nicer if they had acknowledged there was a problem beforehand and come to fix it sooner. There were fans available in the common area, it would have been nice if we had been offered one.

Steps from the Duomo, affordable and a lovely accommodation. I was by myself so I cannot speak for larger groups or couples, but this was the perfect choice for my trip! Very easy process to check in and out. Candies were a lovely touch and the water jug kept me hydrated all throughout my trip!

The location of is unbeatable! The room had enough space for the two of us and our bags. The bed was comfortable, and there were extra pillows and an extra blanket (that we needed). The high ceilings made the room feel even more spacious. We could easily adjust the temperature. The common area was neat, clean, and well stocked. If you wanted to "eat in" after buying food from the central market, you could do so. We could hear the bells from the Duomo and the alley sounds, but we wouldn't trade the location for anywhere else. Who wouldn't want to step out the door, turn the corner, and have a fantastic view of the Duomo?

What a fantastic little find,right opposite Prada and all the high end shops if that takes your fancy More importantly just ten steps from the front door and your at The Duomo Lovely room and very quiet, you would not know you were on the doorsteps of a busy tourist area Room and bathroom were immaculate Thank you
