Hotel is located in the center of Bologna, very easy to reach from the city center and train station by foot or bike. The room is a little small, which is quite common in Europe, but the quality is decent

Breakfast in okay, not the greatest but also not the worst

Front desk staff were most helpful when we were journeying around the city to view the sites of Bologna. Food, the room, air comfort and the central location was first-rate

Beautiful hotel just steps from Piazza Maggiore. I travel frequently for work and have stayed in many hotels in central Bologna, and this is among the best value

Absolutely ideal location for exploring Bologna. Beautiful hotel, helpful staff and a nice breakfast included. The bed wasn’t too comfortable, but it’s Italy, none of the beds are comfortable

The bed was okay, the breakfast nearly poor (the positive thing was the waiter at the buffet). They were public parking places in front and it's central in town - close to the main station

i stayed two nights and i loved the quality of the bed and pillows. it was amazing and i slept so well. also, the fact that there was an individual thermostat where i could increase the temperature from 21 to 23 degrees

The whole hotel is decorated by comic artists, but really tastefully done, not over the top or kitschy. Breakfast was so good that I would come here regularly if I were lucky enough to live in Bologna

A little walk to the Piazza Maggiore, but there are businesses close to the hotel - a supermarket right next door

Overall, our stay was nice and the rooms were spacious. But make sure to request a heater before you arrive. On our first night, they told us there were no heaters available. Other than that, everything was fine.

When we jumped into the taxi at the airport and asked for Hotel Cavour, ours drivers immediate response was, "great choice, fantastic hotel!" The hotel is located in a perfect area for all the sights and shopping districts of Bologna

Nico was a star, and served with perfection each day! The cups are amazing too! Perhaps a bean to cup auto dispenser of various coffees might ease the pressure on staff and add to the experience for the guests

The hot selection was bacon and scrambled eggs, all with ample quantities during the various times we chose to dine. This is requested from two staff "roving" the rooms, clearing tables, making guest happy etc

Breakfast is not rich and can be updated with varieties. Taxi cost from the hotel to airport is about 15 - 25 € depending on the traffic, day/night service(15-20 min). For short stay the hotel is a very good choice

The property is in a great location, just far enough away from the train station to avoid noise and congestion but close enough to easily catch trains. Easily walkable to historical centre and heaps of cafes

Bathroom very narrow so for big guys will be difficult to take shower! Collapsing bidet is a great attraction and is very difficult to use anyway! No balcony in most of the rooms

I was on the 5th floor too and away from the street a bit. It can be hard to find protein for breakfast in Europe in general and when I read some of the comments I expected to be trying to find a place for breakfast

Negatives small room and a tv the size of a computer screen, but I don’t watch tv anyways so no big deal. I’d get a bigger room if you aren’t traveling alone. The single bed rooms are doable but very tight

It is in a very quiet area, except for the bells, which you quickly become acustom. I eat innthe dining room on my first night as I was so tired from traveling. The atmosphere in the dining room was friendly and homely

The room was really gorgeous and felt special—not some cookie-cutter place—and the location smack-dab in the center of Maggiore square couldn’t be beat! Also, their morning breakfast was outstanding

Perfect place for stay. Silvia is very kind and helpful. Everything was clean and prepared, house is well equipped and has a beautiful garden which you can use. Walking distance from city centre is about 20 minutes.

We were guests for the legendary Vasco Rossi concert in Bologna, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Located just steps from the Dall'Ara Stadium, and a very comfortable walk to the city center

If you're on the street side of where the traffic is do note it does get loud Great location I didn't have any food in the place because I wasn't going to pay €20 when I could go across the street any cheaper

i only wish i had left my clothes in the suitcase and not put it in the wooden chest because the chest has some kind of chemical substance used to treat it which smells weird and it got onto my clothes

Very good Hotel in the very centre of Bologna practically all interesting sights are very close. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and clean

There's an elevator, and the room was quite spacious with new amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is huge, with plenty of utensils and counter space available

Only one thing is, it would be better that can more evenly assign the gender in the mixed dorm, because I accidentally booked a wrong dorm with mixed gender and there are only 4 beds in a room, and I stayed with another 3 males, which is a bit uncomfortable

It's located in a residential area, so you have to walk a bit to find shops, but it's not too far. Overall, it was a great stay; I was satisfied with everything

I’ve just come back from two weeks at this property and had an excellent experience. Originally I had been looking for a hotel, but could not find anything that seemed comparably attractive for a comparable price

I’m a little weary of apartment-type situations, because I’ve had problems with access at other properties. Here at Le Porte everything worked exactly as it had been described. The location could not get any better

You’re literally right next to the Asinelli towers in the heart of Bologna with everything in walking distance. The apartment was very attractive, modern and spotlessly clean

the absolute perfect location!! So central for everything and the most amazing view of the twin towers. Huge apartment, even let us check in two hours early because the apartment was ready

Personally I liked it, the room was comfortable, private shower even though it's a bit small you can move the shower doors to make it feel bigger and also the staff was very nice and helpful
