The location is also good for public transportation to the bologna centrale from where you can go to the airport or other cities. Reasonably priced and hardworking staff. Just be nice to these hardworking people :)

Not sure why some of the other reviews for this hotel have been harsh but for the price it is really very good, a nice 3 star hotel, nicely decorated inside, nice rooms, quality furnishings and bedding for the price, excellent location

The staff was very friendly and the location was good. The room and especially the bathroom were quite large.

While both rooms had excellent beds and linens the renovated bathroom was larger , brighter and nicer. The newer décor is very pleasant. The heat worked in both rooms. The small touches in the renovated room were nice

I was happy to find rooms available for a decent price and even more pleased when we saw the rooms. Large king bed, beautifully renovated bathroom. Our room even had direct access to the large, shared terrace

10-15 mins walk from the Bologna Centrale train station. All the major sightseeing spots are within working distances. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'll stay in it if visiting Bologna again

This is our go-to when we stay in Bologna. The hotel Is charming and clean. Service is very good, the rooms are neatly kept. Sometimes we end up in a suite, which is great, because then you can make your own cup of tea

Breakfast is always very complete and hearty. A great way to start your day before you walk around all day. We recently discovered the fourth floor suite across the street. Amazing view from the window!

Reservation emails to my questions were timely and friendly, the hotel location is walkable to the main train station and to many of the city sites

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I booked a room without a private bathroom, but there were three bathrooms shared between nine rooms and it wasn’t an issue at all

The front reception representatives were kind and helpful. The shared bathroom thing wasn't a big deal. Our room had 3 beds and a sink

20-22 mins walking distance to center. Keep in mind for hot season. Rooms clean and comfortable. Beds are very hard. Air condition works well and quite. Reception is available between 15:00 and 20:00 only.

Very nice hotel. The cleaning lady was very nice and kind + the room was cleaned every day. We had a precious private balcony. Check in was not complicated and we were always in touch with the staff.

Location gets a 3 star only because the rooms are actually located a significant walk from the reception desk where you check in (13 mins in our case). Without bags, it's a breeze, not so much with bags

I preferred taking the stairs instead - it's only 4 floors and I'm not old, disabled or otherwise challenged by stairs :-) Free bag storage on check-out in case you don't leave the city straight away

This is one of the best stays I ve had ever so far. The receptionist is so kind and helpful with his smiling face. The place is so roomy,top clean,close to all the historic piazzas,shopping and restaurants

If you have luggage like me, about 10 euros each way to/from Bologna Centrale train station. Staff recommended Uber app for easy and faster service. There are multiple bus stops within 5 minutes walk

A lovely B&B near the center of Verona, spotlessly clean and tidy. The only flaw is the breakfast, which we found too standard—not even a moka pot, but rather a more foreign-friendly Americano

This isn't a regular hotel but a group of rooms on the 7th floor of a building, with 2 shared bathrooms and a lounge. My room was large, included a fridge, and was nice enough

A lot of traffic noise but ear plugs were provided and I slept very well. I wasn't able to get breakfast, the kitchen seemed to be closed a lot, the most I managed were a couple of coffees on the last day

Everything was very good!!! The only thing was that we had room 101 so if there are people coming in after you go to bed the headboard is on the wall of the elevator.

This is a very small boutique hotel in Bologna centro, right across Via Rizzoli from Piazza Maggiore. Great, great location; easily walkable to virtually everything

Our room (the Giulia Suite) was decent sized, had a big bathroom, and also its own private balcony with views over Bologna centro

They didn’t have breakfast, but instead gave us vouchers for a local restaurant a few blocks away (Casa Azzoguidi). This turned out to be just fine. Nice people at the restaurant. I’d definitely stay there again

(Need a massage? this is the place for you!) The proprietors required full payment in advance, and gave very detailed instructions on how to get into the property, where to put luggage, etc etc

It is the first time to visit Bologna. We have absolutely enjoyed our stay at the libety Hotel. Everything about the hotel was excellent; especially the breakfast and staff

The bathroom always smell a strong odor of pee

We did report the concerns but the reception couldnt do anything as the hotel was full and had no other 3 person rooms available, We did consider moving hotels after 2 nights but we decided to just stick with it, but sadly we wouldnt go back which is a shame for the staff

In summary, staff fantastic, location great, breakfast Ok, but rooms really need work, and understand the road is busy outside but surely better sound proofing is possible on the doors??? I hope this feedback is useful and is an honest review

ARCOBALENO is really a nice stay in bologna. Beds are good, the owner was really kindly and always helpful. He served good Italian STONG coffee in the morning It was easy to walk to midtown and get to the airport

After a tiring search to locate a place to stay in Bologna that was convenient and close to the train station, we were lucky to find this gem that was a 10 minute walk to the train and about a 20 minute walk to the center
