Starhotels du Parc in Parma

This is an elegant older property. Overall it was nice stay and the folks there were very friendly and tried to be helpful. It's a bit outside of town but not too far. The parking was to be 15 Euros per day however I was charged $48 for two days for some reason. The television went out after a power blip around 8 PM on the second evening and never came back on. Apparently this affected the entire property. When I return to Parma I will most likely look elsewhere.

A Charming Vintage Stay in Parma
We spent one night at Starhotels Du Parc and had a truly positive experience. The hotel has a distinct vintage charm—its age adds character rather than detracts. I personally loved the atmosphere, and everything was impressively clean, which made the stay all the more comfortable.
🚗 We parked our car in the hotel’s garage for €15, which was convenient and reasonably priced.
🍽️ Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. While the overall quality was medium, it was perfectly fine for a hotel buffet. I especially enjoyed the granola station—there was a generous selection of nuts and cereals that made my morning!
🌳 One of the highlights was the location. The hotel is close to the city center, making it easy to explore Parma, and it backs onto a beautiful park—perfect for a peaceful stroll or, in our case, a happy romp for our dog Toffee, who absolutely loved it.

💰 All in all, Starhotels Du Parc is a great value for money. If you're looking for a clean, character-filled place with a great location and pet-friendly vibes, this is a solid choice.

Nice hotel for an overnight stop. Located behind a beautiful park, great to visit during the day, especially with kids who can run around while you enjoy a glass of wine at the local park bar. I would avoid the park at night. Rooms were nicely decorated but a bit noisy. Breakfast was simple, but overall a good choice for a stopover.

Amazing staying here! Staff were always nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable and kind every time. Excellent room service and I really appreciated the pillow menu! The quality of bed was very good and the room size was absolutely perfect also considering the amount of luggage we had! Good the parking service. Always find fresh aromatic water and candies at the entrance was absolutely a sweet plus!
The location was a nice combination between centre and a bit more quiet zone.
I will come back for sure!

Last minute booking with after midnight arrival, was not a problem. Helpful staff.

It was an interesting discovery.

This hotel transported me back to a 1960s film, built with pomp and circumstance. Everything is mahogany and rosewood. The breakfast restaurant has the same style, with neatly dressed staff. Unfortunately, we didn't eat at their restaurant. Everyone is, of course, friendly and does what they're supposed to. The hotel is centrally located in Parma, a 5-minute walk from the center. So, if you want to experience a hotel with style and a good location, you should definitely stay here.

Very spacious and charming room. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but that adds to the charm. Clean, tidy, and with good service.

The hotel is well located – just a few minutes from a beautiful park and within short walking distance to the historic center. We really enjoyed our stay in Parma, and this hotel was in a perfect spot for exploring the city.
