The bald guy from the reception I did’t like the way he spoke to us.
The breakfast was good but the same everyday we stayed a week, I ordered French omelet and that what I got.
The Housekeeping team was amazing and friendly.

Today, 15.05.21, I visited the Hotel De La Ville to meet friends. The environment is particularly refined and elegantly furnished. Impeccable rooms, attentive and polite staff! Moderate prices considering the category and level of the hotel.

We spent one night in Parma. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel is located a few minutes from the city center. Breakfast on the terrace is very nice in the morning. However, for a 5 star hotel I expected a warmer check-in/check-out and valet parking.

I stay here regularly for work and the location to city center, numerous restaurants, and the galleria is fantastic, as well as it’s right across from the supermarket. The hotel restaurant is delicious as well.Breakfast is adequate - very standard options for Italian hotels and they will make your coffee request on demand. The staff makes this place - the bartenders and front desk staff and maintenance are all top notch. They go above and beyond to help you feel at home, resolve issues and help with recommendations. Kudos to Marcello and Fulbio! The rooms and bathrooms are nice size for Italy. Bedding is a bit firm for my taste and pillows thin but that is a personal preference. Overall love this hotel and especially the staff! Highly recommend!

Just outside of the old town. So it was easy to get around by foot. Felt like a business hotel. No real character. The breakfast was the worst we had in our two week Italy trip. Staff were efficient but cold.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are fine, really nothing to complain about. You have everything you need. It was a pleasant stay. Also the food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, try the linguine funghi!

Grand Hotel de la Ville: Comfortable rooms & delightful breakfast, but a disappointing shower experience left room for improvement.

We stayed for a couple of days in Grand Hotel de la Ville. The rooms are excellent, spacious with very comfortable beds. However, I put only two stars because of the quality of the breakfast which is very poor for a five stars hotel. The bread is industrial, only industrial jams and industrial biscuits. I don't understand how is it possible in a 5 stars hotel. The quality of cheese and ham are ok but not exceptional. Moreover, there is no variety, the breakfast is exactly the same every day. I asked one morning for a fresh ginger infusion and they told me that it was not possible. Anyway, the quality of the breakfast should be strongly improved as it is far from being a 5 stars breakfast for the moment...
