Sofitel Parma Grand Hotel De La Ville in Parma

Our stay at the Grand Hotel De La Ville was truly exceptional. The location is superb, with many attractions and places to explore nearby. Our room was beautifully appointed, clean, and equipped with excellent amenities, offering both comfort and a high standard of décor. The bed, in particular, was one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced.

What truly distinguished our stay, however, was the outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail—even in the smallest gestures—made a lasting impression and elevated our experience.

We cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and its team, and we look forward to returning.

Great stay at Grand Hotel De La Ville in Parma - excellent location, inexpensive, large rooms, walk to old-town. But the best feature is their incredible service - Stefano at the front desk and Alaya the doorman | bellman went above and beyond. I don't think I've ever experienced the level of service Stefano extended to us during our stay.

Onsite parking is also a huge plus.

My only comments for improvement at the hotel :The room I was in, while massive, did not have a coffee machine | espresso machine for morning - and the shower for whatever reason didn't have a "shelf" in it so you had to put everything on the floor during your shower, which was quite awkward. Additionally the internet was painfully slow, which may have been due to the location of my room.

Overall, if you're in Parma, it's a great spot to stay.

Beautiful hotel with comfy beds. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The outdoor seating was cool and pleasant. The air conditioning worked well.

Today, 15.05.21, I visited the Hotel De La Ville to meet friends. The environment is particularly refined and elegantly furnished. Impeccable rooms, attentive and polite staff! Moderate prices considering the category and level of the hotel.

We spent one night in Parma. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel is located a few minutes from the city center. Breakfast on the terrace is very nice in the morning. However, for a 5 star hotel I expected a warmer check-in/check-out and valet parking.

I stay here regularly for work and the location to city center, numerous restaurants, and the galleria is fantastic, as well as it’s right across from the supermarket. The hotel restaurant is delicious as well.Breakfast is adequate - very standard options for Italian hotels and they will make your coffee request on demand. The staff makes this place - the bartenders and front desk staff and maintenance are all top notch. They go above and beyond to help you feel at home, resolve issues and help with recommendations. Kudos to Marcello and Fulbio! The rooms and bathrooms are nice size for Italy. Bedding is a bit firm for my taste and pillows thin but that is a personal preference. Overall love this hotel and especially the staff! Highly recommend!
