From our very first interaction with Hotel Verdi, our experience was exceptional. Before arrival, I had a few questions about check-in time and parking, and I received a gracious, thoughtful reply that immediately set the tone. It was clear from the start that the staff genuinely care about their guests. When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly and given a thorough orientation—not just about the hotel amenities, but also about Parma itself. We were provided with clear explanations of how to get around, what to see, and personal recommendations for restaurants, which turned out to be spot-on. That level of detail and kindness made us feel immediately at home. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, with beds that made for a great night’s sleep. We especially appreciated the hotel’s peaceful atmosphere and the sense of security we felt in the neighborhood. The location was ideal: close enough to walk to Parma’s main attractions, yet quiet enough to feel restful at the end of the day. Breakfast each morning was delightful—fresh, plentiful, and accompanied by excellent coffee. It was the perfect way to start our days of exploring. For anyone traveling by car, Hotel Verdi is an especially smart choice, with convenient parking options and staff who go out of their way to make logistics easy. We left with the feeling that we had been genuinely cared for, not just accommodated. I would highly recommend Hotel Verdi to anyone visiting Parma, and we look forward to returning on a future trip.

Very poor insulation in windows, listening traffic of the road all night. Old and tired bathrooms. nice staff and nice location if parking is needed.

Questioning the four stars. Have contacted the industry association to ask how they can be classified so high. No seating in the room. So many staff, but little service and guest space. Slightly dusty in public areas and dried plants. Chose the hotel for the nice pictures. Thought there was more guest space to sit in. The "lounge", which is actually the lobby, is occupied by a dry desk, where one of the staff sits at. This means that guests can sit on a small sofa next to working staff. You never know. it is the person at the desk or at the reception who will help you. They charge EUR 16 PER DAY for animals. But no welcome gift or anything. Breakfast must be pre-ordered. If you don't ask, you get the same things all the time. Two of the staff who would rather talk to each other. Forget to give you things. Not allowed to wash clothes in the bathroom, as it can ruin the floor?! Marble floors have always been able to handle wet! Refers to the laundry room cleaner. Feels more like they want to be snobbish than they can live up to. Rock hard bed and pillows. If you try to ask for information, you get strange answers that have nothing to do with the matter. In other words, there is a lack of the little extra everywhere in this place.

Noisy early traffic.
Breakfast was poor, bread, croissant inferior.
Today shambolic everything finished including croissant by 9.00.

Not a 4 star hotel. Hotel still operates in the back era with outdated furniture. Rooms are very clean but noisy. Air conditioning doesn't work . Hotel management with lack of standards asking guest to rate them high when they do not follow any but any standards of 4 stars hotel. Chokingly bad breakfast . This hotel it is a 2 star in reality. Do not waste your time going to this hotel. After I have been asked to rate them as high and I have promptly replied to them I couldn't because of very poor quality at breakfast staff were rude towards us. Last day of our trip our breakfast wasn't prepared and we have been given guilt trips about me saying breakfast it is of poor quality. They do not take constructive feedback and instead they were unbecoming and unpleasant towards us. I won't ever return to this place full of cluster.
Ps: your reply it is even laughable. Fail to believe on what your guest saying about of not being a 4 star hotel and breakfast it is at the poorest ever. What a shame. Worst hotel ever. If you see my history of reviews I am far reviewing people . Your hotel I would have wished never book but I did and it is my fair review towards your services.

Quaint hotel in Parma
Nicely located out of the center of the main city but easily walkable. I liked that it has a private parking area and the room was quite comfortable. I felt that the bed was quite hard but liked the pillows. Good decent breakfast was offered as well.
