Hotel Residence Charles in Rimini

Bad experience, booked through booking one thing and upon arrival we found another, initially I thought it was a booking error but by calling customer service we discovered that it was the structure that had provided a wrong description, they changed accommodation by providing us with one as from original description, but they wanted 100 euros more. Even though booking said that the problem was created by the property, they insisted on blaming us. In all of this, they did not provide us with breakfast which should have been included. The room was dirty and the refrigerator turned off (it took a day to cool it down and it was also without an ice compartment) the shutter was manual in all directions, to pull it up you had to be in 2. Crockery supplied dirty with encrusted food, air conditioning functioning in one room, half broken bathroom drain, dirty and smelly corridors, swimming pool full of pigeon feces and dirty in general (we only managed to use it on the last day) on the last evening the key that opened the doors was demagnetized reception doors, we pointed this out but it was not changed to us and we were locked out until 4am, when we pointed out the key malfunction we were told that it was our problem and that he (the owner) had "his things to do" and that if we didn't want to stay out we had to stay in the structure and not go out (I specify that the structure has no set times for entry and exit)
Although the booking customer service called the structure saying that I was right at check out they continued to ask us for the supplement, so much so that the booking operator I was on the phone with advised me to call the police when I reported to the owner he made me pay only the tourist tax (which was obviously expected). I reiterate bad experience from start to finish, I don't understand the positive reviews.

Rude owners, dirty facility

Really Bad.

The owners are not friendly, they practically don't speak English. On the first day, upon arrival, we tried to populate a family of 4 people in the basement, we did not agree, offered a different room, at the first inspection, everything seemed to fit, agreed, but in vain. The room did not have a dishwasher, for 4 people there were only 3 forks, the knife had to go ask. The curtains are dirty, the toilet cover is broken, one day there was no hot water. And most importantly, when ordering via Airbnb it is indicated that FREE PARKING, it was one of the important criteria, in fact it is not, the whole hotel has only a maximum of 4 places and those through 2 streets that are not guarded, without a fence, in fact just a place along the road, taking into account the area where the hotel is located, and it can be said "Mumbai slum" you can expect anything with a car. So, when all 4 places were occupied, I left the car at the hotel, so the owner tried to send me to a paid building service (5 euros per day) under the pretext that I did not order the hotel with a parking space, I repeat, when ordering, FREE PARKING is indicated. The room was procuerine, it looks like the air conditioner never went through maintenance.

If I could I would insert even one star! The rudeness and arrogance of the owners is incredible. They rent you the place from September-May at a high price even if it were a 5-star hotel,
price ranging from 600 euros if you rent a two-room apartment to 800 if you rent a three-room apartment but from what I've heard from other tenants they also vary in price. They ask you for the deposit to enter and it also does not have a standard amount but varies according to how they want to exploit you. Inside, the apartments have an induction kitchen, Wi-Fi, bathroom, terrace and the wardrobes are not very tall but giant height I would say disproportionate to the maximum. In the bedroom there is a double bed which in reality are 2 single beds joined together as always with double sheets, television and 2 wardrobes arranged on the 2 sides of the bed + terrace. In the kitchen there is also a sofa, table, fridge and some appliances such as microwave and oven. Bathrooms leave a lot to be desired as they require maintenance, little water comes out and hot water is often a mirage. There is a laundry service but another scam because even here the cost of the service always varies and there is no friendliness at all. Remember that even if you have paid and therefore the place where you are staying is temporarily yours, the owner has a copy of the keys to all the apartments and enters at will, violating the customer's privacy, I would say almost from a complaint! Think carefully before renting or booking a room in this place! Not recommended!
