Hotel Blumen in Rimini

If I could, I wouldn't give you even one star! Avoid this hotel, it is a real disaster! Dinner is a disaster, breakfast is practically nothing. They literally kicked us out of breakfast because there was nothing, and they didn't even want to bring anything, without any shame or a promise to refund the money. Horrible experience! Stealing money!

Mixed feelings. I’ll list the positives first, then the negatives so whoever reads this can make a decision. Positives • Location is beautiful — the hotel is practically on the beach. • The beach itself is wonderful and has no stones. Negatives • Food: Breakfast and dinner were included. Breakfast opens at 7:30, but by 7:45 there were no eggs left. To get eggs, ham, cheese or bread you have to ask the staff to bring them out. There are two coffee machines but one is usually out of order, so it can take 7–10 minutes to get a coffee. Overall there was very little suitable for adults to eat — if you’re travelling with children (as we were), good luck. Dinner is from 19:30 to 20:00 - super late, no idea why. • Beach: You must pay for sunbeds and umbrellas; you cannot bring your own towels. If you don’t pay, there’s often nowhere to sit. Front row (two sunbeds + umbrella) was €35/day; last row (two sunbeds + umbrella) was €25/day. • Rooms: No fridge and no kettle. The TV, air conditioner, and heated towel rail in the bathroom were not working. The beds were not very comfortable. Walls between rooms are thin — you can hear everything. Our neighbours came back every night around 11–12 p.m., so getting any decent sleep was difficult. Cost We spent €1,600 on travel from Lithuania to Rimini and another €1,000 on food, drinks and local travel — €2,600 total for two adults and two children (6 and 1). For that amount of money, I don’t think it’s worth it. Other notes • Rimini is okay but nothing special. • San Marino is nearby and very beautiful — that’s probably the highlight of the trip. I hope this helps you decide whether it’s worth going.

This hotel is really bad. It’s located right next to a road, so you can hear everything – music, singing, and so on – which goes on until 1 AM. The food is terrible and there’s very little to choose from. At dinner, there’s a salad bar, but it gets emptied within ten minutes before dinner even officially starts, and dinner only lasts one hour. You can order dishes, but everything is in Italian, and the Italian waiters don’t speak English, so it’s impossible to communicate. There’s also no proper transport – bus number 4 is always late and always completely full.

The only highlight of our stay was the beautiful sea view from the balcony. Unfortunately, everything else was below expectations. The rooms were old and not properly cleaned. Breakfast was very limited – mostly just croissants and cakes. Although some ham and cheese were available at the start, if you arrived even 30 minutes later, they were gone and never replenished. The same happened with the yogurt – it ran out quickly and was not restocked, even when we asked. Despite these issues, the staff at the reception were polite and helpful, which was appreciated. However, based on the overall experience, I would not return.
