This family-run guest house is an absolute gem! The hosts are lovely, the breakfast was amazing, and the property itself is peaceful, spotless, and charmingly vintage. It’s the kind of place you could happily stay for weeks. Convenient stores are nearby, and while it’s a bit away from the city center, it’s perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Plus, there’s a pool, a great bonus!

The La Gaura is absolutely amazing! It’s peaceful, immaculate, and the service is fantastic! Their made to order breakfast is a dream that we enjoyed daily. There is a 5-10 min walk in thr neighborhood to some restaurants, market, and pharmacy but certainly an easy reach. I would highly recommend and we can’t wait to stay there again!

Mosquitos will eat you alive! I had a dozen in my room (lobby and rooms open to outside). Chased them down for 2 hours so I could sleep. Room was not air conditioned on arrival. Peak summer made it uncomfortable for a good few hours. Could not walk the property because the mosquitos will ear you alive, even breakfast I couldn’t finish because they were swarming me. House and room are very old. Had some trouble using the shower and bathroom because of the 4ft height which sloped from 6ft. Doorway was also 5ft. I hit my head many times. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, but they must immediately do something about the mosquitos and perhaps consider keeping their rooms on A/C for both comfort and keeping the bugs out. It could have been nice for a quaint retreat but sadly I couldn’t wait to leave. Expect 45 minute drive from airport depending on traffic. Cost was $55EUR taxi.

We loved our stay at this beautiful guest house. The owner was warm and welcoming. The home is stunning with an old world charm. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide array of fresh local and homemade items. The pool adds beautifully to the stay. The Guest House close walking distance to a number of wonderful restaurants (Try Nostra for typical Roman dishes!). The Carrefour grocery store is also a short walk. We highly recommend La Gaura Guest House!

This is a fantastic guest house in a beatiful suburb of Rome. Excellent restaurants in walking distance, all frequented by italians rather than tourist, so you can immerse yourself. This family run guest house has amazing service, picking us up and dropping us at the airport. The house is a great place to relax and read by the pool, having a vast garden to enjoy. Access to rome or beach via bus/train is very doable. Will definitely do this again.

It is a homestay, and check-in is only available at a fixed time in the afternoon. Checking in after the time is very unfriendly. It is recommended not to choose it if the flight arrives in the afternoon, in case of delays, it may be very unsmooth.
The included breakfast is only bread and drinks, and other meals are charged.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, about one kilometer away there is a shopping street, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The reception staff is warm and friendly, breakfast is accompanied by a ray of sunshine, it is very enjoyable, the yard is large and equipped with a clean swimming pool. Although the house is a bit old, it does not affect the experience of staying at all.

The Italian grandpa and grandma's home is decorated in a very stylish way. The people are very nice. It's a bit far from Rome and there's traffic jams. Don't consider it unless you drive.

very nice house and great service. easy to miss if you drive on ur own in the dark. the area is very nice and neighborhood very safe. The house is with a lot of history and details. Fantastic service, the girl serving breakfast gave me a lot of good and practical advice to use metro. Although there was a lot of rain during our stay, still enjoyed the house and thinking to would love to come back once again. Thank you.

I visited during a family trip.
It was a guesthouse that was renovated from a luxurious house.
All the props were high-end.
The hotel owner was old, but elegant and spoke English accurately.
The daughter provided breakfast and was very kind.
I thought I would like to stay here for a long time next time I come to Rome.
The garden is well-maintained and the pool is pretty.
However, there are some mosquitoes.
