Le Onde Resort in Viterbo

We arrived early and were greeted by Vera. She is very sweet and speaks English pretty well. When she had finished cleaning our room, she found us on the property and let us know, then showed us the way. The room was spacious and we liked it. The property is very pretty, and has great potential.

All that being said, we had rented the Classic Suite, which was described online as being serviced by an elevator, and having a kitchen. We were not allowed to use the elevator. We had reserved online, since, when we tried to do it by phone, Gabriele hung up on us. Online booking has a price listed for paying on arrival, and a slight discount for no refundable. No other distinctions. That night, we planned to use the kitchen, only to find we didn’t have running water in the kitchen sink and no gas at the stove. After some frustration trying to reach the owner’s “emergency phone numbers”, Vera responded that we had not paid to have those services. Live and learn.

Also, there isn’t a single comfortable place to sit in the suite.
