Albergo La Villetta in Sarzana

I stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised.
The room was clean, cozy, and had a very comfortable bed.
The breakfast was good, with a good selection to start the day.
The location is excellent: close to the train station and the city center, making getting around really convenient.
Excellent value for money, considering it's a 2-star hotel.

The only downside was the cold at night, but overall it was a great choice for those looking for convenience and practicality. Recommended!

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was sufficient. Location was close to the train station and accomodation was affordable and just outside Cinque Terre.

A good breakfast service with various choices

Hotel near the center of Sarzana, a strategic location for reaching the Cinque Terre and Porto Venere. The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to help and advise. Rooms are always clean. Parking is available on site.

Convenient parking even though quite limited and narrow, an old style hotel, quite clean, but not recommended for heavy luggage travellers / seniors as they have no elevator to access upper floors

The room is outdated.

If you’re looking for a diamond in the rough, look no further. If you don’t want to spend all of your vacation in the hotel room, this is the perfect location in the center of the town. Best markets and night life. You have the beach, mountains and all the tastes of the local cuisine within 5-10 minutes. Another benefit is you don’t need a car in this area.

The service and cleanliness was all top shelf. They have the kindest receptionist. Whether on vacation, or stay for work, this a perfect spot.

I’ve spent many many summers in this part of Italy, and for me has all the benefits of the area, and not the negatives. If you really want a local experience and not a tourist trap, this is the spot and location for you.

Breakfast was served each morning. My room was spotless each day. Towels and linens were all fresh. I could even park my rental car out back which is a nice luxury. The entire staff was beyond kind and friendly and really assisted in providing options for local vendors and day trips. They know the area very well. Regardless of how many stars, you get 5 star customer service without all the hassles.

So for the laid back vacationer or business trip, this is perfect place if you don’t plan on spending all of your trip in the room! All the needs for air conditioning, WiFi and TV had no issues the entire stay.

It’s a great place to walk around and be in the quaint marketplaces and town. You get all the Tuscan colors and feels, without all the cinque terre type of over the top prices. This is really where the locals hang, and you don’t have to be standing in line, or shoulder to shoulder the whole time.

I would definitely choose to stay here again. It checked all of my boxes…no complaints and was sad when it was time to leave.
