The hotel is very decent, spacious and clean room, simple but plentiful and very good breakfast. But the hotel is noisy due to its proximity to the railway line. With Voyages Privés a train ticket to the Cinque Terre was included but they forgot to specify that the train passed through the room.

Al Borgo
Stayed at the hotel many times and it is always the same. Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and social areas and definitely good value.

Stayed here before so knew it to be clean with nice staff and good continental breakfast, location was central for us.

Very spacious place and bathroom. Our room had a small kitchen with the basics that became very useful as we cooked two of the nights we were there. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Centrally located and very near places to eat, supermarkets, all kinds of stores and more. Lots of places to see and visit just a short drive away. Place is located right next to some train tracks but we barely noticed when the train went by. Limited parking. Great place, would stay again.

Everything is very good. The receptionist who is a little fat (sorry I did not ask her name) is very nice and friendly. She has given us many help. My wife und I are very satisfired with this residence.

Friendly staff, daily cleaning of the room, good atmosfere. The breakfast offers mainly a wide range wheat and sugar products. Personal airco/heater in the room and personal hot water boiler. Fine bed, too short for me (190cm). Curtains don't make the room really dark. Really close to the railway station and city center. Wifi is slow. We had powerfull electrical bikes for the whole stay which are real fun to drive in the hills. 8/10

It might have been our own lack of pre-booking investigations, but the appartment complex/hotel unfortunately was not as we imagined up front.

The appartment itself was big, so plenty of space for 2. The kitchen was okay, you can warm something up, but a bit to simple for real cooking. The bathroom was simple. The bed was a bit hard but okay for us.

One major drawback is the location of the complex. The hotel is situated directly next to the trainlines/station of Sarzana. This is very noticable in the appartments, especially when the heavy good trains run by. (so if you're a light sleeper I'd suggest somewhere else would be more enjoyable)

Next to the trains we had some construction workers staying in the appartment during our stay, who were all going out for work at 6 in the morning which we could unfortunately noticed by the sound of closing doors in the hallway.

So it might just be unlucky timing, but all in all for us it's not something to visit a second time.

Lovely and comfortable rooms near the city centre. Nice buffet breakfast. The staff is professional, there is parking and they accept dogs. Fair prices, too.
