Hotel was is a great location, lots of parking avaliable. Staff looked miserable. Rooms were dated but it was clean. Pools were good, never any issues getting a sun lounger, life guards at pools and lake. They were quite strict with no jumping into the pool allowed. Lots of sun loungers at the lake. Drinks although only a small selection of spirits were all self service. Snacks avaliable in the lobby...

The weather was lovely which makes the stay even more pleasant. La Limonaia Hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location and the staff are super welcoming and helpful! The views are amazing and you can cross onto the cycle/pedestrian path right in front of La Limonaia for a lovely stroll/bike ride into Limone, or there is a shuttle bus that runs to and from the door of the hotel for a very small fee. My family and I stayed for 11 days at this hotel complex in July in one of the self catering apartments. Everything about this hotel was brilliant. The location is stunning, there's lots of free car parking. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the room was modern with great facilities. The restaurant serves excellent breakfast and buffet dinner, with lots of choice for both. Drinks are good value, and there's a singer on every evening.

Back for our second year to Splendid Palace. This time because of lack of availability we couldn't book the Comfort Room with Lake view, so booked the Classic Room with Lake view. On both occasions, we were greeted by the same gentleman during the transfer from the main car park in Limone - what a gem he is! We came the first time at EALA in December 2023. It was definitely the hotel I wanted to return to, and this year we made it back. Like the first time we came we were enchanted by the beauty of this place, when you get here you don't see the hotel... but what awaits you once you enter is like magic... you are enchanted. EALA is 5*L for good reason, everything is perfect, from the staff, services, restaurants...

This is a little hidden gem. It's rated only two stars because it has just the basics not because of any problems. It has a terrace with a beautiful view. You are given an electronic code so you can come and go anytime. The bed is firm and very comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but nice. The towels are large and soft. Overall this is a great place to stay! The road down to the parking area by the restaurant is quite narrow and full of tourists but once navigated the parking was very spacious, secure and located right next to the restaurant (the rooms are in a separate building on the lake side of the same road). Really hard to find unfortunately. The view from the room is breathtaking, but unfortunately the mattresses are saggy and the bathroom is getting on in years. At almost €180 a night for 2 stars, I would wish that you would invest something here again. But the service is great and very friendly.
