We booked this hotel because of its location, up-to-date features and the fact that they welcomed small dogs. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The rooms are tiny and have a very enclosed feel to them. The outside temperatures were reaching 30 degrees during the day even though it was only mid-April and the hotel refused to switch on the main air-conditioning system. The rooms had no ventilation what-so-ever and the entrance to the rooms were glass. The temperature in our room was unbearable. The staff was very friendly and gave us a different larger room, but it did not improve the situation by much. We had difficulty sleeping because of the heat and were counting the days before we could move out. The other main issue with this hotel and this is only relevant for people traveling with a dog, is that man’s best friend was not allowed to accompany you anywhere. You were literally expected to always lock your pet in the “hot” room. Yet, the hotel charged a hefty dog allowance. I have no issues if hotels don’t accept dogs; I understand that some folks are not dog people or even have allergies. This hotel wants the money of the dog owner but doesn’t care about the wellbeing of your dog.

I recently visited the hotel and had an excellent experience from the moment I arrived. The staff, especially Bruno and Maria, were absolutely wonderful — very kind, friendly, and welcoming. Their warm hospitality and professional attitude made me feel truly comfortable and appreciated.

I would like to sincerely thank them for their outstanding service and for making my stay memorable. I highly recommend visiting this hotel

Amazing hotel! Amazing services for the price, clean rooms with beautiful views of the lake. The pool and hot tub are great, with great and filling breakfasts. The hotel is a nice and pretty 15-20 minute walk from the center of town. A great quiet location!

Lovely stay at Hotel Atilius - clean and comfy room. Quiet location. Hot tubs were a bonus and all guests can use them. Pool service was fab. Breakfast was varied and good food. Really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to other guests.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. All of the hotel staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. I would like to commend the receptionist Alessia, who made this experience very enjoyable and pleasant. The hotel rooms were very luxurious and clean, and included controlled AC. The view of the mountains was stunning and the outdoor pool made for a fun evening. I would definitely visit this hotel again!

The hotel is super modern and very clean. The room was small, but with a big closet and a nice bathroom and a comfy bed. The layout of the hotel is nice.

This was a very nice hotel and the food was the best we had on our Shearings Classical Italy tour. Hotels and food went downhill from here onwards. The swimming pool was great and very pleasant to sit around with nice scenery as a background drop.

Such a lovely place to stay! The rooms and services are top notch. Location is a little outside of Limone centre but it's easy to get into town, close to the water and there are some nice trails in the woods just at the back. But by far the best thing about the hotel is their staff - always so friendly and accommodating! They even opened the breakfast buffet early for us as we had an early race the next morning. Would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.
