Location is exactly close to everything views are stunning from the hotel Nice and relaxing atmosphere older guests so no noise Rooms and hotel bit dated but it is very clean, towels changed and room clean daily, surrounding area and garden pool areas well maintained pool is freezing Yes was value for money staff couldn't do enough for you so friendly and helpful Close to all amenities shops, resturants, harbour, beach staff all very helpful Would return as i found the area of Limone stunning We went on trips every other day in the area which added to fabulous holiday

There are some very critical reviews about this hotel none of which I can agree with. My wife and I stayed here for a week along with about 40 other travellers in our group and I heard no criticisms from anyone. We found the hotel to be ideal for our needs. The room was of a good size with more storage space than we needed. The bed was large enough for two average size adults and had a firm and comfortable mattress. There was a settee and padded chair, and a large and ample en suite with shower. A/C kept the room comfortable at night. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the pool and with a partial view of the lake. We had a half board booking and found the food at breakfast and evening to be very much to our liking. As is customary in Italy you are asked to select your evening meal for the following day, with plenty of choice and nothing repeated during our week's stay. Throughout the staff were very pleasant, efficient and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this stunning part of Italy and would hope they enjoy their stay as much as we did.

We revisited 15 years after we were here for our honeymoon. There have been some upgrades including the pool and spa. We found all of the staff very polite and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Great location and excellent vibe.

Very convenient location right in the heart of the town! Free parking is a great bonus. The staff of the hotel is friendly and was willing to help with any issue. Pool and spa hours could be longer.

location amazing, very hot due to the air trapped in by mountains. Staff very helpful especially Giuseppe in the bar. Look after the staff and they will look after you. Giuseppe makes the best cocktails I have tasted and I am sure the acholic ones are just as tasty. Rooms are cleaned daily and the food value for money, breakfast is plentiful with wide variety of items. Will arrange to go back.

My excellent mark is based on value, location, food, cleanliness and of course the staff. On arrival we met Joeseppi, he was superb to deal with. The hotel is just on the outskirts of the beautiful Limone village about a 3 minute walk away. Dad is 88 years young and he loved the hotel. He was staying in room 232. The view from this room is stunning. We were staying in room 308, which is beside a rooftop where you can sun bathe all day. Both rooms were very clean and kept to a very high standard by a lovely lady, I never did get her name. The food is authentic Italian, all three of loved the food. Breakfast is excellent with a very hard working lady doing the cooking. In the evening there is a salad bar, the are three choices for first and second dishes followed by desert. We were never hungry. The views from the hotel are really stunning. Because we were with the travel department, we did not eat a la carte. However the food and drink in the hotel is cheaper than in the village. I cannot finish without mentioning Vanessa and Amastasia they were fantastic in the restaurant both morning and evening's. Joeseppi at the bar was also fantastic. All of the staff made our holiday. Our fabulous host on the tours was Martin a great guy. Thankyou Hotel Alexander for a brilliant holiday, highly recommended and yes we will be back.

This is a lovely hotel cleaned every day the food was nice and friendly staff, I was disappointed there is no kettle to make tea/ coffee the shower unit is just free standing just after the lobby area I thought this was a bit odd.. the location is great a short walk to the beautiful town and nice shops….
