What an hotel, perfectly placed, comfortable beds comfortable pillows, lovely rooms with great views. The service is excellent. The cleaner is lovely. The food is varied and delicious.

Enormous hotel, good facilities and nice rooms. Staff were very friendly and omnipresent during breakfast or dinner buffet, there was never a shortage of anything. The food itself was above expectations too, especially given the sheer number of guests. The only downside was that the center of Malcesine is a bit of a long and steep walk. My second time here because it's a great place in an expensive town, with slightly dated rooms that work just fine if you don't expect anything modern. The breakfast is great and comes with a view (can be eaten outside as well). It's very quiet and you will get good sleep. There's a pool as well for when it's sunny. The location is beautiful with a fantastic view of the castle even though the hotel is in the city it is really quiet and not far from the port, the bus station or the lake. positive surprise do not look at the pictures (they are old) the hotel is much better, service, breakfast, position very convenient. rmajority of the negative reviews are old, my experience of this hotel is positive.

Everything was good, and the staff was very helpful when asked. The one surprising fault was that the coffee from the machines during breakfast was really bad. It's ground fresh, but the milk substitute tastes terrible. Truly the worst I've had in Italy so far. I've had very good coffee from machines in other countries in Europe.

We enjoyed our stay at this older, but well maintained hotel. It is located lakefront right by the ferry docks which makes it very convenient for those with limited mobility and for those with luggage and don’t want to struggle with it on the cobblestone streets. We have just returned from two weeks at this hotel. We had a lovely time. Yes some of the rooms are a bit dated but it is clean and the staff are lovely, especially in the restaurant. There was a lot of choice for breakfast. Dinner was chosen the night before, there were three options for starters and main, and two for dessert. Just fine. Excellent location, staff were friendly, room was quite small. Wall were very thin, we could hear everything the neighbours were doing. It was supposed to be a side lake view, but there was a huge tree blocking line of sight.

I was happy with every aspect of this hotel. I traveled there alone and felt like all staff was extremely friendly making me feel like at home. All encounters were so nice, the food was awesome views incredible. Christina at the front desk was especially extremely helpful. She is a gem. I can't wait to be there again

Great location and staff. A bit noisy in the mornings- not by the hotel but outside maintenance. Not awful at all but a bit annoying.

Fabulous trip to Lake Garda, staying at the wonderful Val Di Sogno hotel. Great location a 20 min walk along the lake promenade to Malcesine for restaurants and bars plus ferry links to go across the lake to other towns. I am hesitant to share these reviews, because I don't want anyone else to find out how amazing this hotel is! The location is absolutely beautiful and quiet with views of windsurfers and sailboats from the room. I highly recommend this hotel. The suites are worth the price!
