Hemeras Boutique House Aparthotel Duomo 11 in Milan

The hotel is located in a super weird commercial building. The rooms were right next to the Argentinian consulate in an office building, which was weird and it meant it was super annoying to get to — you had to buzz the front door and the go up a set of stairs to reach a designated elevator. But worst of all, the concierge convinced us to spend an additional 50 euros to upgrade the room with “Duomo view” and told us it’s “really special” and that the bed was extra amazing. When we got to the room, you could barely see the duomo even when pressed against the window (see picture attached), and the bed was the worst bed ever, you literally had had to climb onto a platform to get to it. It became really obvious that this was an obvious ploy to get you to spend more money with the hotel. Very disappointing, would not stay here again

Anyone that gives this place more than one star could not have actually stayed there. The rooms ( which there are not many) are in an office building so if you have any problems there is no one there to assist you. Our toilet would not stop flushing all night long, the heat did not work so the room was very cold and it felt very unsafe being in an empty office building at night. I strongly suggest if you stay in Milan to stay at other accommodations.
